You have 2 choices. A B&B room in the old house (the villa), where breakfast is served, or an apartment close by. We decided for one of the wonderful and nicely decorated apartments in an old beautifully renovated house opposite the B&B building (you are still able to have the B&B breakfast). We however stayed in our spacious, split-level appartement,... More

We have stayed at Villa St Simon now on three occasions,Each on the way through on a journey to Spain. We found the old world styling of the villa with its rooms filled with old furniture, wine memorabilia and paintings completely to our taste. Rooms are always neat tidy and welcoming. A good breakfast rounded off our stay on each... More

We spent 4 nights with friends in a 2 bedroom apartment across the road from the hotel. Apartment is well equipped with all mod cons, comfortable beds, wifi ,tv , kitchen. Breakfast is at the hotel- fresh croissants etc. The twist is how very welcome Les and Clarissa make you. Les's passion is Bordeaux wine and we learnt a lot.... More

We rode into town on our bikes and this place was recommended by the tourist office. We were not disappointed. Lovely old house that has been lovingly restored. Our room was large with lovely beds and linen, original floors, big windows to the street and high ceilings. There is a kitchen for guests use if you need to self cater,... More

Me and my partner Wendy stayed here for two nights this October. The owners Les and Clarissa made us feel so welcome. The room was so comfy and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. There is a room for making tea or coffee and if you want to prepare any food you can do that too. There is a... More

We stayed in one of the self catering apartments offered by Villa St Simon. It was ideal for us. A short walk from the Chambre d'hote down a side street, it was roomy and quiet with all the facilities needed. Breakfast was offered at Villa St Simon and this was very good with lovely croissant, bread and jam, an abundance... More

We were given an upgrade but that meant our room was on the Main Street. Be aware of funfair noise in July until midnight and motorbikes roaring up and down the street late at night. Emily was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't really call this a B & B breakfast is extra.

Clarissa was delightful, friendly and helpful. After traveling over 24 hours, I needed to crash. After my pick up at the train station, she helped me settle into my "apartment" where I had a small kitchen and separate sitting room. It was comfortable and private. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent and the next day I was able to... More

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is a beautiful town, with all the trimmings. Les does a great wine tour and a fantastic partnership host with Clarissa. We ate at the lovely restaurant, where the food and service were first class. They have niched the demand with what they offer and can see why it is rated so well.... More

We recently stayed in the apartments with a 3 and 5 year old while on holiday from NZ. Was a perfect location (Blaye is an easy place to be with young children) and Les and Clarissa were just amazing. The apartment was large, clean and child friendly and had all the amenities you could want while travelling. We utilised the... More
