Their rates are bit high but we had the most awesome beach. Staff is from SL airforce so they are well disciplined and friendly. Food is also good. Beach is clean and private. Highly recommend for a family getaway !
nice private beach with resort . Nice food even limited selection. Location was good and you you can even take a bus from the Trinco and come to the resort . qalm and peaceful site . Reconded for all travellers also good for coupls .
it is a very good place to visit with families. the staff were very friendly and gave their 100% attention to us when we were in the sea. variety of the foods are less but tasty. though it is a beach resort, maintenance and cleanliness are excellent.
Beach is very clean and monitored by air force lifeguards 24*7. A private beach is available for Resturant which you can spend Quality Time. Food is fantastic and reasonable as well. Clean Restaurant with clean washrooms. If anyone planning to go to Marble beach it's better you book the hotel and go there so you can have a best time.
We ended our holiday in Sri Lanka with a 3 night stay at this resort which is run by the airforce. Situated in an idyllic location a few kilometres from Trincomalee, the private beach with golden sands was the perfect spot to relax. The accommodation is also private with different style cabanas spaced out along the coastline and hidden from each other by the trees. We came as 2 couples and stayed in one of the cabanas with 2 flats. The rooms are spacious and have both ceiling fans and air conditioning, a little kitchen area with a fridge, a sink & tea & coffee facilities. The bed was large & comfortable, the wardrobe by contrast was quite flimsy and as no hangers were provided, it made it a bit useless! I would describe the accommodation as comfortable but basic. With a little more attention to maintenance it could be better. For example the net curtains in the room were badly torn, ( I suspect caused by monkeys getting into the rooms of which there are warning notices) and the tiles on the bathroom floor were undermined by we suspect water getting underneath them from the shower area. We also had quite a few ants on the concrete floor. We had half board and all meals were excellent, the portions were generous, menus well thought out and we had a great variety of mainly Sri Lankan dishes at both breakfast and dinner. The airforce boys who manage the complex as a posting were all friendly, efficient and helpful. There is also a spa which provides a range of treatments. I had 2 treatments including a neck, back & shoulder massage with oils and hot stones. Prices are very reasonable with that treatment costing 1,000 rupees = £4. This location is off the beaten track and we enjoyed our stay.…
