Within 15 minutes walking distance to Main Bus Stand and Railway station, this place is well positioned for eateries and other necessities. Owner operator Mrs Vasuki is taking greater care to provide an unforgettable stay at her place. This is the cleanest, exact to the pictures and best customer care satisfaction we received for quite a while. Mrs Vasuki took extra effort to provide us order and deliver our first night dinner when we got trapped in the heavy down pour of rain which is very unusual to Trincomalee. Organised Tea and a Tuk Tuk for us at 05:30 am for us to depart to catch the bus. Her supporting staff Kartheek and Shiva also very helpful. To me with my travelling experience The Bulbul Inn is providing a five star service with two star cost. They deserve 20 out of 10. Wish them great and prosperous future with Tourists.

A small cost hotel with only a few rooms. Very good breakfast. Lovely staff but very poor level of English so don't expect to get any local knowhow or tips. We stayed in the family room, according to booking.com it should be 80sqm it was more like 15. Two separate rooms, very crowded since they were both fitted with big queen-sized beds. Very Wierd toilet layout, shower and toilet in the same place, no windows. However, the toilet dried surprisingly fast after a shower thanks to the ventilation. One AC in each room aswell as tvs. One quite annoying feature with this place was the rooster. Every morning at 4-7 it went mental outside. It was just outside the family room. We were unable to sleep after 4. However it quieted down at round 7 isch. Outside the family room located next to the reception they have a big TV which is loudly playing hindi music all day and night. When asked if they could turn it down it was not an issue. Trincomale town... Not much to see or do. Went to the statue on top of a hill with another five billion people. Extremely crowded and hot. Had some amazing fries at a fast food chain and some very overly spicy food in a restaurant. If you don't like spicy food make sure to specify that clearly several times when ordering. The flavors are amazing but it is sooo spicy, even when telling them to tone it down. All in all trinco was meh, go to nilaveli for a calmer peacful vacation or to uppoveli for a more touristic experience.

They offer a variety of spotless rooms and the staff are doing everything they can to care for their guests. The beds are so very comfortable and it was great coming back to after a day on foot. Breakfast is huge with a variety of foods. We highly recommend this place.

From the warm welcome as we arrived, we knew we'd made a good choice Our room was brightly coloured and 'hospital-clean' Breakfast was marvellous (and when we requested a 0600 start, it was not a problem) Everything was in good condition Good location and easy walk or tuk tuk ride to all you'd want to see in Trinco Strongly recommend to any visitors to Trinco
