Very comfortable hotel accommodation in Jomsom in Lower Mustang. 27 Twin rooms with clean attached bathroom with piping hot solar showers. A very good place to choose if you want to reward yourself at the end of your trek before flying out from Jomsom airport, which is just 5 minutes walk away.

We stayed here twice and arranged our stay directly with them quite a long time before but all the communications were excellent and we also used them to arrange a guide. our guide was Hari and he was brilliant, he met us at the airport, and had a good plan organised for the whole five days and we had a superb time. the hotel is interesting and spacious, we were quite early in the season so still quite cold but they supplied hot water bottles and hot showers were excellent too. the restaurant provided excellent meals as well, with a good menu veg or non veg and a fire to keep you warm. we couldn't fault the place and when the return flight couldn't make it in they arranged a jeep return journey to Pokhara immediately so we didn't lose any time, huge thank you to you all and Hari, a superb guide a great time thanks mate.

It's the best place to stay in Jomson. Very nice restaurant & coffee shop. Jomson is a very small place but with Oms Home you will be taken care off. As we were vegetarian we doubted what to eat but they served very good food. All staff are excellent (Krishna) Asst Manager he is very good, he take care of all guests personally. He is always smiling and ready to help. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Dont stay anywhere else apart Oms Home in Jomson.

This is an old establishment with lots of character. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good wifi. Excellent coffee shop on the premises with entertainment at night. It was a lot of fun to stay here and there isn't a lot of night time activity in Jomsom

With huge gratitude and fondness, I highly recommend both Om’s Home (Jomsom) and the Red House (Kagbeni) as clean, comfortable and welcoming hotels in the Mustang Valley. Over the past 5 years I’ve stayed at both hotels, multiple times, while working in the region. I’ve stayed there in Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall - always solo. The staff are warm and generous, the food is delicious (seriously good dal bhat, pizza (ask for extra spinach on top) and veggie burgers. They always have cold beer ready. And their smiles are deeply genuine. I’ll post here some photos - one of my favorite room at Om’s, another of Nilgiri mountain, seen out the window of my favorite coffee shop in the whole world (no exaggeration there - it’s Himalayan Java, part of the hotel, where the manager, Sanish, plays beautiful blues on the guitar and jazz on the keyboard, and where the walls are covered with a gallery-full of oil and acrylic paintings of the Upper Mustang landscape by the massively talented Dhwoj Gurung. Not to mention the coffee, which is absolutely top notch). I’m also posting a view out my guest room window, and lastly a shot of a group of tibetan children all dressed up in their traditional clothes, walking by the hotel on their way to a Bon ceremony. One last word about the Red House in Kagbeni - there is a guest room at the very top of the building that is gorgeous both inside, and from inside looking out. Truly breathtaking views. Total privacy. Modern even, and extremely clean, and yet somehow it’s minimalist style is perfectly aligned with the town’s very old and true magic. Om’s Home, Red House - thank you for your kindness in hosting me so warmly over these last many years. As you know, I can’t wait to return!
