Srijana Farms will remain unforgettable to me. I loved the staff, the food, the tranquility, and the serene beauty of the place. It will remain one the best places I have ever stayed in as a traveler.
On a motorcycle tour it's a perfect stop between Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan NP. Beautiful rural place to stay for a night or weekend. Amazing food. Friendly staff. Good facilities. A home away from home.
We had the best time at Srijana farm thanks to the great food, beautiful scenery and most importantly the five-star hospitality. Amar and his team were superb hosts, they never said no to any of our requests and did all that they could to make our stay great. Thanks to them, we had the chance to not just taste but also learn to cook super delicious Nepalese dishes (they are fantastic cooks!), trek to the Kali Gandaki River and experience life on a Nepalese farm (feeding the goats and milking the cows - a rarity for us city kids). One of the staff on the farm even spent a full day trekking with us to Rani Mahal and back! We won’t forget how they even took the initiative to prepare hot water bottles after seeing us shivering in the cold night, and baked one whole cake for us after hearing that it’s our favourite dessert! Although the farm is not easily accessible without your own transport, it is still possible to get around to nearby places such as Tansen and the Rani Mahal trek starting point via (intermittent) public transport, and Lumbini via a hired car. Amar advised us on how to get around and helped to make arrangements. Now that we’re back in a city, we really miss watching the sunrise from right outside our room, chilling on the hammock and the tranquility. Highly recommended as a refreshing getaway! …
Whether it's peace and quiet you're after, or just "doing something different"- this is it. Yes, food is incredible, and the wi-fi, and the views, and, did I mention the food? But it's really Amar and his team's kindness and character which are the backbone of this farm. We loved it all- going on beautiful hikes, learning to cook Nepalese dishes, having a fun stimulating company, chilling in a hammock with a cool lassi, even milking the cows! There were lots of subtle special touches and helpful organisation, but you'll have to visit in person to experience it your way. Thank you, we will not forget.
