If you are going to stay in Bhaktapur, you just can't do better than the Sunny. It's right there on Taumadhi Tole, and you get a bird's eye view of the goings on at Nyatapola and Bhairabnath. The staff is kind and wonderful. I absolutely love it there.

The rooms were a little cold at night (we went in January), but everything else made up for it. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Eating breakfast on their rooftop patio was one of the highlights of my trip!

The staff at Sunny Guest House go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The breakfasts on the rooftop patio was one of my favorite things from my trip to Nepal. You can tell the food was made with love and care. And you honestly can't beat the gorgeous view of Nyatapola Temple. It did get kinda chilly at...

Stayed 2nights here and was extremely comfortable. A perfect little hideaway in the middle of Bhaktapur. The room was an excellent size with an extremely comfortable bed, great sitting area separate to the bed area, and wonderful big bathroom with fabulous steaming hot water. At the moment there is no roof top café/sitting but this didn't worry us too much...

We stayed our first 2 nights in this Guesthouse. After luxery life a home we had to get used a bit. With our 2 year old boy we were freezing at night (poor isolation, no heating and 2c temperature outside). Warm water just a few hours per day (depends on electricity). But after a night adjusting we really appreciated this...

The Sunny is so great. I've stayed there twice, once while leading a group pf 26 students, once just as a traveler, and both times were special. The staff there is terrific, the food is excellent, and while pretty much every place in Nepal will bend over backwards to take care of you, this place does it even more than...

Our stay in this guest house was very nice. There were 20 people in my group, and the staff was kind and accommodating. The one tip I do have, however, is to try and get a room in building 1 or 2. Building 3 has much smaller rooms. The ones in 2 are large and beautiful. Great place.

We were three young people sharing a triple room in this hotel for three nights. - Very close to every thing in Bhaktapur. We had no reservation so we were lucky to find one available room when we arrived. - The room and the bathroom were clean when we checked-in. - This is the only one place everywhere we went...

We have been two times at the Sunny Guesthouse already during a mountainbike tour through the Kathmandu valley. Over the years this place has improved the quality of its rooms without losing the friendly service and spot on location.

My wife and I spent a night at the Sunny Guest House and had a great time. We flew to Nepal without a very solid plan and asked the owner/manager to help us reserve flights and tours for the balance of our stay. He spent an hour on the telephone and made all our flight reservations to Chitwan and even...
