What a lovely family and a haven away from crazy, wonderful, wild Bhaktapur but only 5 minutes walk. Very cheap. Immensely helpful and comfy. Hot water can be lacking or tepid (solar). Breakfast carefully prepared and lots of it. Extremely knowledgeable host with really good English.
A sweet Guesthouse with friendly, knowledgeable, helpful hosts. Delicious breakfasts (the omelette and yoghurt in particular), spacious rooms, delightful courtyard and reading room - with excellent book selection!
My partner and I stayed with Ajaya and his wife ahead of our anapurner circuit trek and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The house is situated in a quite area just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town. Ajaya could not have made us feel more welcome, he gave us lots advise and handy tips to ensure we explored all of the highlights that Bhaktapur had to offer. After a busy few days in Kathmandu, Krishna’s House was the perfect getaway that we both needed. Our bedroom was spacious, with views of their lovely garden. Ajaya and his wife served us the most incredible breakfast each morning (best breakfast we had in Napal!) We could not recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Ajaya and family for a lovely stay.
A very good place to visit Bhaktapur. Close to the centre of this historic town. A lovely double bedroom with en suite bathroom. A family run home and an excellent experience of authentic Nepal. Clear advice and wonderful local knowledge from Ajaya. A hearty breakfast each day. Worth a visit.
Krishna house is the perfect place to stay in Bakhtapur. Very close to the bus station and very close to the entrance of the old city, in a very quiet area. The owner is very helpful and provides nice advices and historical facts. He speaks a very good english. The breakfast is included and is perfect. Highly recommanded for this good price.
