Lovely old Victorian home turned into a B&B. The owners were very nice people, very welcoming. We had a room on the 3rd floor of the main house - Wedgewood Room I believe was the name - decorated in blues and whites. The bed was comfortable. The 2 chairs by the fireplace - might need replacing, it seemed they "sagged" quite a bit and were not comfortable to sit in. The room was large and even had a huge closet (though ceiling is slanted as it is the roof top). The room faced the main street - but we never heard noise from the street. The room had a mini split - so easy to control the temperature to your liking. The bathroom easily had hot water (though shower pressure was not the best, but to be expected with an old home).

The large porch was very nice and the dining area/breakfast area was nice - though on the 1st breakfast day, no eggs were offered - we were offered them the 2nd day which was nice. There was water and coffee available throughout the day. There was fresh fruit and yogurt, some pastries and I believe maybe pancakes?

The area is very nice - right on the river/park. Close to downtown shopping and dining - which we really liked. Free parking.

It sounds like the owners have some big plans for the place - so hope that works out for them. They apparently have some live music evenings (not when we were there) outside on the back yard/gazebo and they also have a lot of events.

Only thing that I thought was a bit odd was that you could not bring liquor (wine/beer, etc) into your room from outside sources - so no nightcap for us. If the bar at the house had been open - then I don't have a problem, but by the time we returned to the room, everything was shut down. Apparently has to do with their liquor license and it was made known to us before hand...but just a bit of a disappointment - maybe offer a mini bar in the rooms for a night cap?

My husband and I recently stayed one evening at the Ginko Tree Inn. The location was very conveniently located and close to the Soaring Eagle entertainment venue (less than a ten minute drive). The Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The owner, Mr. Davies, was extremely friendly, accommodating, and professional. Breakfast was perfectly prepared and the presentation was top notch! This was our third time staying at the Ginko and we always look forward to going back. Lots of exciting changes are coming to the Inn so if you haven't booked a stay yet, be sure to do so soon!

The owners/ hosts are a wonderful couple!! Sooo kind and happy!!They clearly care about their business. There is much attention to detail. The home itself is absolutely beautiful. I have never stayed in a cleaner place. Despite much of the intricate nature of the home, there was not a speck of dust anywhere. The home is within easy walking distance to multiple great restaurants and bars in the downtown area. It is near a park. This would be a great place for a family gathering, wedding, or other social functions. I don’t have a negative thing to say about our experience there. It was absolutely wonderful. Thank you!!

My girlfriend and I were visiting Mt. Pleasant for a concert at Soaring Eagle and we decided on a Bed and Breakfast as we were tired of the stale hotel experience. We were immediately enamored with the Victorian theme home and friendly service we experienced upon arrival. The host gave us a tour of the backyard deck overlooking the river and we really enjoyed the view with a glass of wine prior to heading out for the evening. The bedroom had a newly updated bathroom and small balcony overlooking the back deck. The bed was soft but supportive and we slept well all night. In the morning, our breakfast of french toast, bacon and fruit was so delicious and amazing. The hostess and her daughter were very friendly and the entire experience highly recommended.

Absolutely one of the best experiences. From the booking to checkout and everything in between, David and Layla extended outstanding hospitality. We were able to check in early with the inclement weather and were warmly welcomed when we arrived. They ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and went above with extras to make it feel like home. The decor is wonderful and our room was comfortably appointed. We appreciated the warm cookies on our last night and looked forward to the delicious breakfasts each morning. A huge thank you to them both for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to seeing you again when we come back up.

Absolutely lovely! We stayed at the Ginkgo Tree Inn for a family reunion. There was a Journey concert that same weekend, and the chain hotels had jacked up their prices. Well sucks for them because that led us to the Inn, and we’ll be staying here on our Mt Pleasant trips from now on!

David and Layla were so kind and friendly. The breakfast (made by Layla) was phenomenal and worth the stay just for that!

It’s location is great - right between Island Park and downtown. Everything was a short walk away. The park is lovely with new skate ramps, pickle ball courts, and a water park for kids!

We stayed in room 8. It’s a large room with the most comfortable bed! I slept really well.

While we didn’t take advantage of some amenities because of time constraints, we did enjoy coffee on the back patio which was lovely. They also have beer and wine available.

We’ll be back!

We stayed at Ginkgo Tree Inn during our fall getaway trip. It is the most beautiful B&B that we have visited. The wood trim, chandeliers, and details in the decor that transported us to another time. We have met both owners, David and Layla, warm and genuine people with good hearts. They really welcome and make guests feel like family. We loved their vision of making the Inn more than just B&B.
And the room was nicely decorated with great charm. Breakfast was super yummy and extra sweet thanks to our little waitress, Olivia, who we have missed already. We plan to come back!

My wife "surpized" me with a room here for the Pitbull concert. This was a great experience and we will be back! The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was close to the Soaring Eagle concert venue and a bunch of trails for the daytime and bars for the night time.

Gorgeous Victorian house with such attention to detail. Something catches your eye in every corner. The hosts were so very friendly, efficient, warm and accommodating. They served us wine in our room. Made sure we knew where everything was. And how to operate it. There was a fireplace in our rooms. There is a lovely coffee nook.

The place was immaculate and comfortable. We felt pampered. Would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful, hidden gem this turned out to be. This charming Victorian bed-and-breakfast, still decked out for Christmas was immaculate. Beautiful, comfortable and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. Such a lovely family, food was delicious and will definitely be back. Thank you David, Layla, Olivia and Liam.
