The hotel isn't bad but not very good either. Everything is clean and the sleep is good. But as everything is quite old some things are falling apart. For example you couldn't lock the bathroom door (from bathroom to outside) nor the door from the main area to your balcony. So I wouldn't leave my valuables there because there isn't a safe either. The restaurant was that good but it wasn't bad either (we expected worse from what we heard from other travellers). The service was very friendly! There was also a TV and I was able to watch european Rugby while drinking a beer which made me happy! Instead of watching TV you could also visit the waterhole, but unfortunately it rained the night before so there wasn't much activity - but that's nature! If you want to stay in the Etosha NP I think Namutoni is the best bet!…
We had such an amazing experience at this camp. The camp is incredibly clean and well maintained. Our room was amazing, it even had an outdoor shower and a deep bath tub. The staff at the petrol station were so helpful when we had an issue with our car. I cannot day enough good things about every staff member we encountered, people were genuinely happy to have us as guests. If you stay here be sure to visit the twee palms waterhole, we spent over an hour with a cheetah mother with two cubs. It was an incredible experience from start to finish.
The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Another plus point is that it is near waterholes so we can go there anytime. The downside is the bathroom is open concept (ie. no door). So, it is a bit awkward if you are sharing room with a friend or stranger.
We arrived late so we had no other choice. Paid 660 N$ in low season when other camps are around 450 N$ and in much bettet shape. I asked at the reception how much is the rate in high season and they didn't know. The toilets and showers were dirty run down tiles and seats broken. All the other camp we visited were in perfect shape and much cheaper. I think they take advantage as the camp is in the National Park...
perfectly situated, near old german fort, eastern entrance to the Etosha park, nice and friendly staff, but badly needs renovation. Our bush chalet inside ok, but the outside looked a bit shabby. Restaurant, bar and Swimming pool the same. Tour guide for the game visits very good and friendly. During the night tour we spotted two male lions, very impressive, and had the outstanding experience of spotting two cheetas successfully hunting an antilope and eating it just 40 metres before us. Next day spotting a rino, amazing.
