This is the main camp of all and much more people around, compared to others. We camped here and the campsite was well kept and ablutions very clean and cleaned regularly. There was only few other people there camping, so it was also very peaceful. We used the restaurant also for a dinner. Food was ok, not too many choices but I wouldn’t expect that in such remote area. Shop didn’t have any frozen meat available, just some tins, water, alcohol, soft drinks and fire wood. Be prepared. There was also a service station, post office and curio shop. Service station only accepted cash, shop took also card payments. There seems to be lots of lions around Okaukuejo, we had all our best lion sightings around the camp and hear them roaring most of the nights.

We have lovely stay at etosha we enjoy our stay there one complain only wi-fi very poor we buy voucher but doesn't work in the room swimming pool very clean we loved it the food at restaurant very delicious the staff very friendly we appreciated very lot highly recommended home sweet home

We booked a Bush Chalet which was very expensive for what you get - it's certainly not good value for money. But the waterhole makes the stay entirely worthwhile! And the fact that you are inside the park, is invaluable. The check-in process was tedious and the reception staff weren't friendly. There is a shop on-site which is very pricey and ill-stocked. They have a wide selection of alcohol though (lots of wine and beer). There is also a little curio shop to buy gifts. There's also a filling station on-site for fuel and to check tyres. The rooms were quite run down, but clean enough. The beds and linen were new and top notch. There were also mosquito nets. The bathrooms came with complementary toiletries. There is a nice braai and table area outside the chalet, but it's a bit of shock that the kitchen comes with absolutely no utensils. Just 2 x mugs, 1 x glass, 1 x teaspoon, a kettle and a few tea bags and sugar sachets. There is a bar fridge and a sink for washing up (you need your own dishwashing liquid obvioulsy). Be sure to pack a plate, eating utensils and braai tongs. Otherwise you can pick up disposable plates and knives/forks from the Spar in Outjo. When braaing, keep an eye out for the sneaky jackals. The waterhole is an absolute dream come true, watching the game graze and drink. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first night, watched two black rhinos drink and swim in the waterhole, and on the second night, a herd of +/- 17 elephant passed through to drink. It was incredible. At night we heard the lions roar from our chalet. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty, though the service was a bit 'all over the place'. If you're looking for peace and privacy, we'd recommend avoiding bush chalet units 86-91 as they back onto the camp site and the communal kitchen and toilet. We stayed in unit 79 which was great and short walk to the waterhole. Though the bush chalets aren't good value and very over-priced, I'd still recommend staying at Okaukuejo Camp for the waterhole experience and for being inside the park.…

This place is awesome lion's always putting up a roar while you are sleeping, waterhole has everything animal no need to go on a self drive ,just binoculars and coffee, bathrooms stay a mess with no hot water

Greatly diminished herds of antelope and (no) elephant visiting the water hole; a la carte restaurant with an extremely limited menu repeated daily; waitrons were apathetic, slow and got orders wrong.
