First part of our honeymoon and the bit we had looked forward to the most. Pros David- he is simply the best guide that we had in Namibia we could not fault him, he was passionate and willing to explain. We did the morning walk with him, the night safari and half a day in Etosha - we spotted lions... More

We spent a night at each of 3 camps in the Onguma private reserve, the Fort, the Tented camp and the Bush camp. Each is quite different. The Fort is a Moorish Castle with the Wow factor, but one questions the decor in a wild part of Africa. The tented camp is the authentic safari experience. Neither of these two... More

My family and I spent 3 amazing days at Onguma Bush Camp. We were spoilt rotten. The employees of the lodge are extremely professional and all small details are considered. Our host at dinner, Mathaes, was wonderful and made our time very special. David, the game ranger that took us out on a half day drive to Etosha and the... More

Having your gin-tonic in the lounge overseeing the waterhole is truly 'Out of Africa'. In the adjacent dining area the quality of the food is excellent and staff is attentive. So why did I not give it the highest rating? Unfortunately during our stay the pool was being replaced and their was some unwanted noise most of the day. The... More

Dear Jyrgen, I am so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and that the Gin and Tonic was enhanced by the view over the wtarehole. I do apologize for the inconvenience you experience re the pool renovations. We were not aware of the seriousness of a crack in the pool, and when it totally collapsed a few weeks ago... More

This was the highlight of our Namibia trip accommodation wise. The individual luxury rondaval style bedrooms were amazing, beautifully equipped with lots of little extras and the wow factor when you walked into the room. Fabulous bathrooms with toiletries too. The restaurant was excellent with a watering hole directly outside with daily visits from Zebra, Giraffe, Elephant and Gazelles and... More

Onguma gate entrance is 100 metre from Etosha National Park Von Linidequist entrance. We arrived at reception in a oasis of green and beautiful buildings. The welcome from staff was warm and friendly. Checked in and was shown around the facilities. Our room was outside the gated accommodation area overlooking the waterhole. The room was one of the best appointment... More

This camp was not originally where we wanted to stay as our first choice was The Fort @ Onguma, but due to a child under 11 we stayed here. But our stay at Bushcamp was lovely. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay worth while. The rooms was nice and spacious, although we changed for a... More

Spectacular realistic looking water reflection. It was so beautiful when the animals were drinking water while we were having our breakfast. Breakfast was not appetizing. Wifi coverage was bad. Standard room was small but cozy

Thank you for writing a review and letting us know about your stay. We will definitely look into what happened regarding the breakfast service. As for the wi-fi, I am afraid, that living in the bush has many privileges and advantages, but due to the remoteness, a strong and consistent internet signal is not one of them. I hope you... More

This should certainly be your choice of accommodation if you are wanting to enter the Etosha National Park at the Namatoni gate. The service was simply fantastic, ladies got serviced first, waiters didn't lean over dinners to engage in a game of pass the plate. Our room opened into the un-fenced section of the waterhole which gave us a much... More

It is always a pleasure to stay at Onguma. The service was very good the rooms excellent and the food great. It is affordable for Nambians with several options to choose from. Keep up the good service!
