We are a family owned and operated Inn since 1997. We have three types of rooms, with either two double beds, one king, or our town's best Jacuzzi/Fireplace Suites. We offer a year round hot tub for all our guests to use out on the front deck in the gazebo. In the summer, our guests enjoy eating their continental breakfast while watching the fish and listening to the water falls in the water garden area. At night, guests are welcomed to use the outdoor kitchen for their family dinner and watch the fire dance off the water in the pond. Rooms come with micro/ref/coffee, flat screen TVs with DVD players, hair dryers, and A/C. We have a play ground, and a basketball court area for the children. Bring your bikes and enjoy the local bike trail located just 200 feet from the Inn. Fishing, kayaking, tubing, and swimming are all within five to ten minutes. We are just a mile outside of downtown.

Traveled to Montague for family reunion at White River campground. We opted for a motel rather than camping. This suited our needs perfectly. We had a King room that accommodated both of us and our small dog. We had to add the dog to our reservation at the last minute and we were so happy they accomodate pets. Otherwise we would have had to cancel. The room was clean and comfortable, however beware the bathroom is quite small. The office is rarely occupied so make sure you abide by the 3-6pm check in time. We stayed 4 nights and had trouble catching anyone for more trash bags and coffee cups for our room. Motel location was perfect. 10 minutes to campground. 3 minutes to grocery store and downtown. Make sure you check out the rear garden in the back. Very beautiful and relaxing. There are tables and chairs back there also. We actually picked up pizza one day and had our lunch out there. We would definitely stay here again.

Our group of six stayed here two nights. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a basket of snacks and coffee provided. No breakfast, but we either ate the snacks or at a local diner. The shower had plenty of hot water and towels. There was a fridge with freezer and microwave and coffee maker. A/C on wall and windows that could open if you wanted outside air. We were able to check in early which was nice so we could get on the nearby rail trail with our bikes. There is a hot tub available and a nice covered area with tables, plus an open area with tables for relaxing out back. There is daily room service if you wish. The only downside is how close the hotel is to a busy intersection. Running the A/C helped drown out the noise. The price of the rooms is very reasonable. We would stay again!

Due to furnace malfunction we stayed here over night and was booked a few hours before arriving and they were willing to accommodate us and the dog. Room was clean and a decent rate. If ever needed, we would be glad to stay again and will recommend.

Montgomery Inn is a nice, clean basic hotel. Our room was large and very comfortable, (we slept until 9AM!) It has a lovely area in back with waterfall and seating for a relaxing evening. We never saw a human staff-person, but there was a number to call with issues. We didn't have any problems so I don't know if they answer promptly or not. They could use an ice machine. We would stay here again.

Went to this area to visit friends. Looked for places that would accept dogs. Since it was last minute many of the places were already full or didn’t accept dogs. A friend recommended this placed and it truly was worth it. From check in to check out the staff were very friendly, resourceful and respectful. We had a basic room, which had two double beds, bathroom with a shower and large screen TV. It was immaculate clean. Our dog was welcomed in all areas of the property. There was a nice wrap around porch that lead to the outdoor patio area that had both sun and shade areas, with a tranquil water feature and a gas-lite fire in the evenings. We asked to see the cottage suites which were much larger, with jacuzzi and updated furniture. The place is convenient to Lake Michigan, town and the highway. I would definitely stay here again and even consider booking a cottage suite.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway staycation for our anniversary. Their jacuzzi cottages are perfect! This year we only booked one night but next year we will definitely be making it two nights!

We are on our way to sliver lake and my dad likes to find a place when we get into town. We didn't have luck with the major hotels but, one of the workers at one suggested here. The hot tub is open all night which was nice because we didn't get here until midnight & the garden at night is gorgeous! The pillows are small so we brought in ours but the beds are super comfortable. It's a very clean, nice little place. They have breakfast in the morning but, it's like bagels and doughnuts. The staff is super friendly & I would stay again! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a great....low key place to hang out that is within 15 mins from Lake Michigan beaches this is the place. It was very clean and their back patio has wonderful gardens! I was pleasantly surprised and will be going back for sure!

Awesome little find. I travel (a lot) and this place impressed me. One of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed in. Hot tub and patio were major highlights. Great location for site seeing, close to lake, local camground and town. Staff was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

We were celebrating my birthday and performing at the Whitehall's Howmett Playhouse.

We stayed in a spacious suite. We had a fireplace, jacuzzi, large flat screen TV with a DVD player, french doors leading into the bedroom, fridge, microwave and private deck The first night included one free bag of microwave popcorn.

Only complaint...It could use more light in the bedroom.

It was a family operated motel. They were busy improving the outside area by adding a fire pit and courtyard.

The motel was right off the highway and a short drive from Montague/Whitehall. It was also a quick drive to Lake Michigan. It is just a couple miles from the Montague-Hart Bike Trail.

It was the perfect way to spend a milestone birthday. I would stay there again.
