Very nice camp ground. Lots of space. Close to a lot of attractions. The workers are very friendly and keep up the cleanliness of the camp ground. Loved that we were so close to the lake as well. Will definitely stay here again!!
We picked this place over the State Park since it had a heated pool for the kids (just in case the lakes were too cold).
If you’ve ever been to a Jellystone, this was typical Jellystone: small sites, packed in like sardines, with no privacy between sites. But you’re there for t…
We have visited many Yogi Campgrounds and this is a nice location.
It is very close to Silver Lake Dunes and our son was in awe when he saw the size of the dunes. He has never been to Kill Devil Hills NC but the dunes here are a good comparison.
We are on site #147 which was…

"uhh they're campsites, not "rooms""
"There is not cell phone signal available. We have Verizon and could not make any calls and barely got a text to go through. Bring plenty of clothes because there is no laundry room at this campground."
"If you can afford to upgrade to a full hook-up, I would suggest it. During peak "dumping" times (e.g. Sunday's), the dump station has only one dump spot and the area is fairly small and some wait times seemed to be a little long."
"Only get a campsite."
"Try a group site for multiple families and tents."
