The cottage is definitely very rustic inside. The A/C did not work very well making it uncomfortable to sleep at night as it was quite warm when we were there. The outside is very cute. Loved the front porch and flower boxes. Loved being just steps from the beach. Loved the fire pit and seating at the beach. Lots to...

DON'T BOOK IT! Especially through any other website besides directly with them. Even though its CLEARLY stated that there would be no cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to arrival, I was charged a fee. I had cancelled 4 Months before arrival. After speaking with the property owner, they would not honor the policy stated. Poor customer service, THANKFUL...

Have stayed here before. Owners are very nice, awesome location. But the cottages are in need of some serious renovations. Stayed in a small interior one. Was just large enough for a supposedly queen size bed and the shower was like crawling into a closet. But I suppose that's part of the charm?

These "cottages" were built on the 1930's, so don't expect much. They are small, but cozy. They are right on the beach and depending on which cabin you rent, can be right on the water. The accommodations are very dated. The sink faucets are one for cold and one for hot. The only thing they have going for them is...

We are cottages, we are dated...we are neat and clean and tidy...we are not fancy, we are not camping cottages...we have daily maid service and all bedding and linens are included. Our beach is fantastic and our view of the island and the bridge is awesome.

If you are looking for a beautiful beach, fire pit, sunrise and a great price, this is the place. We stayed her on our way to the upper peninsula and it was perfect. Walking distance to the town. Views of the Mackinaw bridge. It was clean. It is not modern, but is charming and comfortable.

We loved our cottage!!! The beach was thoroughly enjoyable, but we didn't have WiFi access in our cottage - it was not close enough to the office. The fresh muffins and coffee every morning, along with the kitchenette, helped us get off to a strong start each day. We will be staying there again!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during a week in August. The room had 2 queen beds, a bathroom, small couch, t.v., dressers, a table to seat 4, and a small kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and small refrigerator. The room had air conditioning, 2 porch chairs, and a great view of the lake. We went to...

The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was great. They offer volleyball, horseshoes, and basketball. You can have a bonfire on the beach. It was priced just right. I do however wish the beds were a bit softer. I would recommend this charming place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay. It so close to a...

Very gracious property owners. Beautiful, quaint cottages with great view of bridge from the beach. Get a lakeview cabin if available. Cabins are clean with hot shower. Complimentary muffins and coffee in the morning are first rate too. We love it here!
