Seasonal hotel with rooms that a clean and well maintained. Great value in an ex Ellen location walking distance to tourist areas. Breakfast could be better but it's what you would expect at that price.

Very clean rooms, clean heated outdoor pool, pretty flowers everywhere, quiet. Glad we picked here over a other chain hotel and for way less money! Location is still close enough to the main part of town. Great view of the Mackinac bridge at night. Can walk across to the park for an even better view.

This is a charming inn! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, atmosphere, then American Boutique Inn is for you! Each room is named after a movie, and is then decorated to fit the movies style. We stayed in "The Secret Garden" room, which was decorated to look like you entered into The Secret Garden itself. The owners have...

We have been coming to Mackinac for the past 3 years and every year we stay at the American Boutique Inn. We have absolutely loved everything about this hotel every time we have been here. They never fail to make everything perfect for all of their guests. You truly feel like part of a family. The rooms are very clean...

Pathetic little dump. Outdated and musty. Soft lumpy bed. Noisy in-room air conditioner. Basically a motel charging hotel prices. Breakfast is pathetic also. Doughnut holes anyone? Positive points - it was not dirty at least and close to the ferry.

It was a nice, clean little motel that had nice ambience for breakfast. That was about it. Wifi was terrible. There was no coffee pot in the room. So you have to wait til 7:30. There was a park across the street that you could walk to and see the bridge lit up at night.

We stayed here for 2 nights ( July 6, 7 ) and we loved EVERYTHING about it!! We were able to check in early when we arrived because our housekeeping girl over heard we were early. She asked that we give her 10 minutes and she had our room spotless and waiting for us! We were able to buy our...

It was so nice to stay in a motel that had a comfortable bed and a nice room. The breakfast was also quite nice. They served hard boiled eggs, cereal, munchkin donuts, yogurt, bagels, and few other breakfast items.

As with others who visited this location and found it wanting, I based my decision to visit on ratings left on TripAdvisor. I expected a uniquely pleasant experience (as I have had at various other independent inns - see review of Labelle Motel), and the day started off that way, but ended in quite another manner. As is appropriate, I...

I was very unsure if this place was going to be nice - as nice as the other reviewers had said. All of the options seemed very expensive (we were there on 6/22), and I typically don't like motels. It was nice, clean and had some unexpected little extras in the room. We overslept and missed the breakfast, so no...
