Came here with my husband and son. The building itself is beautiful and is right on Main St conveniently located by the ferry docks, bike rentals, shops, and restaurants . The staff was very friendly upon arrival. When entering our room(Standard Deluxe Room) it was everything I hoped for (from looking online before booking our stay) VERY clean and the decor had...

Stayed two nights at the inn. Nothing special about the property. Rooms are long and narrow - reminds me of a comfort inn. Rooms are clean; however, carpet has stains and the wallpaper is coming off the bathroom walls. Our room looked at the back of a small run down building. Walls are extremely thin, thus the room was very...

My wife and I decided to stay at this inn for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found waiting for us in our room, it was a towel sculpture made to look like a large heart with 2 swans joined together forming a smaller heart, with a note from the housekeeping staff. The staff...

This inn was incredibly comfortable. We stayed in a standard room with a King bed. It overlooked the stables, but that was great since it was considerably less than the balcony side. The bed was comfortable and there was a TV with a DVD player for rainy days. The staff was amazing! I was able to email them and requested...

We spent a delightful four nights at Main Street Inn and Suites. This property is perfectly located on Main Street (obviously) just across the street from a wonderful bakery (Martha's Sweet Shop), adjacent to the best fudge on the island (Joann's), and adjacent to one of the best breakfast/lunch spots (The Chuck Wagon) on the island. We stayed in a...

This was my 4th time to Mackinac Island. I had always wanted to stay at the Main Street Inn, but never had the chance so this time when it was just my friend and myself we made it a point to stay here. It is so handy, so lovely, so peaceful, and they take care of everything. Everything was arranged...

We stayed in a king balcony suite, room 309, during the first weekend of the lilac festival. The hotel is located conveniently between two of the major ferry companies drop off points. The entrance is located back from the street and the ground floor of the hotel is just a small corner Otherwise occupied by a boutique and a fudge...

A beautiful little hotel (only 18 rooms), located right in the heart of downtown Mackinac. Everything was clean and well maintained, rooms seemed exceptionally quiet and staff were lovely and helpful. They provide turn-down service each evening and leave a little box of fresh fudge for you, which we thought was a really nice touch.

In short, what a wonderful stay! My wife and I stayed here for a 10th anniversary get away. We arrived here on a Friday afternoon, and stayed until early Sunday afternoon. Although we've visited Mackinac Island a few times, this was our first overnight stay. From the room, to the service, to the location......and for a reasonable price.........there really wasn't...
