We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Cottage Inn. We had a fabulous time. Rich and Marge, the innkeepers, were absolutely wonderful. They made us very welcome, gave us great advice as to where to eat, activities and shopping. The location is perfect. The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon sweets tasty. They were so helpful,...

My husband and I recently spent two nights in the Somewhere in Time room at the inn. First, the innkeepers were both very helpful and kind with Marge making a separate egg casserole for me because of a dietary problem. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. They were also a big help with restaurants steering us to two very good restaurants....

We had a wonderful time at Cottage Inn. Rich and Marge are the nicest people ever. They created a charming and welcoming atmosphere and equipped us with good advice of places to eat and see on the island. Breakfast was delicious and fulfilling and we also enjoyed afternoon snack of brittle and fudge. Cottage Inn is super clean and beautifully...

My friend and I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for a couple of days last week. We were so impressed with the hospitality of our hosts Marge and Rich. They helped us with planning our excursions, where to eat, and just made our stay there wonderful! Carmine kept our suite spotless! Breakfast was delish. We had a great time....

We are so glad that we chose the Cottage Inn rather than the Grand Hotel. The place was very clean and well-cared for. The breakfasts were great and Rich & Marge (inn-keepers) were very accommodating to our needs. Both Rich & Marge were so good about recommending possible restaurants and site-seeing places. We could not have been happier. We met...

Marge & Rich are wonderful hosts at the Inn and made us feel right at home even though this was our first visit to the island. We stayed in the Bridge room and although it was a little on the small side it was fine because with all to do on the island we weren't in the room that much....

I hesitate to write this review because I'm still trying to reconcile with the disparity between what I expected and what I received. While the Cottage Inn was indeed charming, a retreat from busy Main Street and had all the desired modern amenities, I never felt entirely welcomed at the Inn. It is difficult to write a review that is...

This is a small bed & breakfast located 1-1/2 blocks from the main street and Arnold's Ferry and 1/2 a block from Ft. Mackinac. Innkeepers Rich and Marge are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, taking in the aroma of the colorful flowers, and watching the carriages...

The location is just off Main Street, so close to the action yet quiet. The innkeepers are very friendly and helpful with local tips. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast and afternoon snacks, which included local fudge and caramel popcorn. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern too. We never heard any other guests. Will definitely return and...

My wife and I vacationed on Mackinac Island for the first time last August. We stayed in the Lilac Tree Suites and Spa and I gave them a TA ranking of 4 out of 5. Overall, it was a nice experience, but with some disappointments. This year, we returned with our children and booked the Mackinac Suite at Cottage Inn...
