Stayed for two days. Can't beat the location! In the heart of town. Had a balcony suite overlooking main street. Bedroom is on hallway side. Ice maker directly outside room. Very loud!! Woke us up when refilling or when others were getting ice. We will bring a small fan for white noise next time. Should solve the problem. Chuckwagon and Chippewa Hotel for great breakfast. Douds for awesome sandwiches and salads. A fun couple days!

The location is perfect... it's right in the center of main street. The hotel itself was lovely. From check-in to check-out everything was smooth! The porter picked up our luggage at the docks and helped get us settled in quickly. The room was large with a large balcony with a view of the activities on main. The room was very comfortable, from the beds to all of the seating options in the main living area. It was nice to have a small area in the living area equipped with a bar sink and coffee maker. I can't wait to return!

Our first impression was not great, first staff to great us at the desk was very short and seemed annoyed that we had interrupted her. Room was fine, actually quite large with a nice sitting area. We stopped back to the front desk to ask about breakfast restaurant recommendations and again found a cold answer. The bed felt really nice but we did t sleep great given a bit of noise in the hallways and other guest rooms. Ultimately, we had a great stay on the island, but we will not be back to the Lilac tree. Plenty of other options for staying and I’m sure others are more friendly to their guests. I’d recommend you look elsewhere.

We have stayed at the Lilac many times. We especially enjoy sitting on the balcony overlooking the main street when we need a little down time after enjoying island activities. The rooms are large, quiet and very comfortable.
