Visited this B&B in August 2018 for a two nights stay and expected a very favorable stay based on other reviews and photos. My experience far surpassed my expectations. The romantic Victorian room had views of the front garden and sounds of horses trotting down the road.

I can't thank Dave and Blanca enough for their kindness. We stayed a week at the inn....The night before we left California my wife fell and broke vertebrae in her back. Not knowing how severe my wife was until we got to the inn, both were extremely concerned and caring. Blanca

This is one of the best places to stay on the island! It is a short block and a half walk from Shepler's Ferry dock. So you are very close to all the hustle and bustle of the main street but also able to enjoy more peaceful surroundings. The inn is a gorgeous Victorian house

The Metivier Inn is just one small block away from all of the shops and restaurants on Mackinac Island. Dave and Blanca were very helpful getting us settled in for our first stay on the island. Met a lot of fellow travelers on Metivier's porch. Watching (and hearing) the horses

Are you open in winter?
Thank you for your inquiry, we close the last week end in October. There is a couple of places that stay open Cottage Inn, and Pontiac Lodge.
