Stayed here last minute with my husband on our motorcycle trip around Lake Michigan. Communication was spot on. No issues getting to the room. We had to leave early so unfortunately we did not get to try breakfast but there was dry cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice available before we left. Super clean and super cute! I love old Victorian homes and this one did not disappoint!

Upon leaving I over looked my phone charger which the Inn Keeper contacted us right away and mailed to us without asking for a dime!

Close enough to walk to town and within a mile of the Fery Port. We enjoyed the evening outside by the fire they had lit. Unfortunately the picture of us is the only picture I took of the outside area which was decorated super cute!

Highly recommend The Fresh Coast Inn!!

Room #3 had a desk, fireplace and two seat sized sitting area that made working easy. The bed was very comfortable.

There is a nice area in back to sit and enjoy the garden.

Breakfast was amazing! Shashuka, baked oatmeal with custard, fruit, and apple pancakes.

As a bed and "breakfast," I expect a hot breakfast, not a continental breakfast. We were told things had to be individually wrapped due to covid, etc. I don't think a bed and breakfast would fall under those restrictions. It's no different than a restaurant. We chose this place b/c of its rave reviews of breakfast to be highly disappointing. 1 glass of Milk, 1 glass of OJ, 2 Yogurts, 2 DINNER rolls, 2 wine glasses full of watermelon and blueberries is not sufficient. My friend and I consider that a diet breakfast. Where's the meat!? The first day, we did have some hot eggs which was nice! Day 2, no. A suggestion would be to offer 4 different breakfast meals that is due to the kitchen the night before. selections like: #1 2 eggs, bacon, toast #2 Pancake stack with fruit #3 Low Calorie option with yogurt, fruit and oatmeal #3 Belgian Waffle and sausage #4 Breakfast casserole and meat selection...something like that would have been amazing! we had to go out for breakfast both days after our breakfast snack.

We would not recommend. When you go to an end you expect an innkeeper. No one there to greet you when we go to our room there's no heat on and the shower head was fixed so that you couldn't move it so that you could wash your body it sprayed above your head on the back of the shower curtain there was no one else in the inn for that night we had to actually lock and bolt the door to the house. When we did speak to someone that morning about the heat she was nice enough to try to go and fix that and she apologized for the accommodations. We had another night but we decided to leave and didn't even stay for the breakfast that morning we were in town for a funeral.

From the minute we arrived we had to contend with unruly and noisy children. They ran up and down the hallway sounding like a herd of elephants, yelling and screaming, and slamming doors. We asked them to stop and they refused and their parents did nothing. My wife was trying to have a telephone conversation in the room and the children were so loud that neither my wife or the person she was talking to could hear each other and was forced to end the conversation. We reported it to the owner and he came and did nothing. He asked us if he we had children and we replied yes and then he asked if we would bring them to a bed and breakfast and we said no. What was the point other than to defend the roudy families. We would never consider staying here again and anyone wanting a nice and quiet bed and breakfast this is not the place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I booked this place a couple months ago and wasn't sure what to expect. We loved it. The staff was friendly, breakfast was wonderful and had a large variety of different foods every morning we were there. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was interesting looking at all the antiques and decor from the past as well as reading about it. We were able to easily walk into town and the beach. Wonderful experience! Can't wait to stay again on our next visit!

I stayed here for two nights. The room was charming, filled with a feeling of old yet had the modern conveniences needed to enjoy the visit. I was greeted by the host, Wendy, when I got there. She made me feel very welcome and was so helpful with any questions I had. The breakfast is amazing! Sooo good! The bed was comfy! Overall very good experience

Aug. 31st. I stayed in the attic room with some friends. We enjoyed our stay, beautiful lodging and grounds. Very comfortable bedding, everything was clean, unique shower was nice. Hot breakfast brought to our room, perfect eggs with all the trimmings. The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been a bird feeder in the beautiful garden, where I enjoyed my coffee.

This was a beautiful Victorian Home. The room we had was #4. It was a cozy room with a wonderful bed. Slept so good. Had a claw foot tub with shower. The entire home was so beautifully decorated. The innkeepers were so friendly and nice. They do accept dogs. The breakfast was amazing. The vanilla bread pudding right out of the oven was breakfast was amazing. The tables where set with fall decor. Definitely stay again
