We booked a room that stated queen room with hot tub 99.99 . When we got back to the room we realized the hot tub was disabled . So with it being late at night I informed them in the morning. They said I was not charged hot tub price that hot tub room was $200 . How is a person to know that by what they offer on booking? I told him that was false advertising and he said probably and walked away. No refund or adjustment.. beware if it says hot tub make sure it works right away . We made the mistake of waiting till that night.
The motel is in a fabulous location. We booked only days in advance so we were glad to have a secured reservation. I have read many reviews criticizing the outdated condition of the motel but seriously it was ok, considering the price and location. There is no coffee or continental breakfast so bring a coffee maker and some snacks. Also there is no ice available. It seems that some Karen complained in a review about the safety of it because of COVID-19, so they shut it down. Thanks Karen
Like the title says, we booked a room online, paid for it then, and when we checked into the motel, they charged my card a second time. I spoke to them in person, several times over the phone, and tried to reach out to them online multiple times. Each time they adamantly refused to consider the possibility that I'd paid twice, despite the fact that I have receipts, transaction records, and a booking confirmation email that says 'paid'. They refused to look at any of that. "That's not how it works" was their only reply, besides a half-hearted promise to "look into it". In my dealings with them, I found the owners to be dismissive, argumentative, and dishonest, and I would highly discourage anyone from ever staying here. The rooms aren't that great either.
I had a room with 2 queen beds as my two college kids were with me. The room was clean and actually smelled good! No stinky cigarette smell. The beds were comfortable enough but not outstanding. The room showed some wear with spots on the walls and carpet. The bathroom was average but clean. The shower head was low on the wall and my tall son struggled with getting under the water. However the water pressure was great and the water nice and hot. Breakfast was pretty limited. They had one load of white bread, a toaster, several baskets of butter/jelly/peanut butter containers. A box of Walmart honey buns. A large carafe of coffee. They had a great selection of fresh bananas which were really good. Overall we stayed one night and had a pretty comfortable stay, especially for the price.…
Stayed in the room with a hottub. To our suprise it was shaped like a heart! Yes the room was older, and continential breakfast was a bit light but we both enjoyed ourselves. It was cute as a bug, and bed was super comfortable! Will return.
