The free breakfast offering was a nice way to start the day and Sue and Sis made sure things were filled and clean.
Clean with great amenities but a tad dated and showed wear. Great staff and price. Close to everything in Manistee. The indoor pool was awesome and has great hours. The breakfast was amazing too with a large...
The wedding party enjoyed the recreational amenities, separate building with kitchen, newly renovated facility and free parking we’re wonderful.
The clerk at check in and check out was extremely pleasant. Very efficient. COVID is being taken care of in this hotel for the most part. I only saw a couple of guests without masks. We wore ours in the public...
Stayed here for 4 nights so we could explore the area; Manistee, Pentwater, Silver Lake, small towns in between. Quiet, clean, comfortable beds and great deal for the price. We had the kitchenette unit so we could...

Sunset Bluff Resort is a wonderful place to stay if you need a break from the busy hustle of daily life. We planned our trip to Lake Hamlin for my birthday and I was not disappointed! The owners of the property were very nice and welcoming. The resort was quite and serene. We stayed in the ‘Pentagon’ cabin. The beds were very comfortable, there is a gas fireplace in the living room and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking our meals. The big window faced the lake and every night we were blessed with a beautiful sunset. Our main reason for this trip was for fishing and it was nice to have a place to return to, after a long day on the water, that felt like home. We would stay here again, the only draw back I can find is that there is not a television and we like to watch the evening news before we go to bed. I would recommend Sunset Bluff Resort to anyone looking to stay on Lake Hamlin. …
The pictures in the ad/website do not give an accurate representation of this property. The lake is covered in algae and that's if you can get past the initial 30-40 feet of cattails and weeds to get to the actual water. Very disappointed that sitting in the chairs provided no view of the lake, only the weeds. Never mind actually getting in the water. :( The cabin was supposed to sleep 4-6 but there was no bedding provided for the futon. Also, an added fee of 4% for using a card to pay for my stay!!! Should've been notified prior to checking in of this added cost. Won't be back again.
My family has been going here for 47 years now. Family owned place, about 10 houses you can stay in. It sits right off of Hamlin Lake. They have a pool, beach, fireplace, playground, and many more things to do. Very pretty! The best place to be in the Deer Meadow house or Evergreen house because the Deer Meadow house is very good if you like nature, and the Evergreen house is very good if you like the sunset and the lake. The Sunset house is very old and smells. I recommend any other house besides the Sunset house.
