I have stayed at this Inn multiple times and always had a good experience until today. Jamie at the front desk was not wearing a mask, just a small piece of plastic that only covered her mouth. When I queried it, as this device is doing absolutely nothing, she said she was unable to wear a mask, and masks don't really do anything anyway. This is absolutely not true; all the medical evidence is that masks make a huge difference. She then said what she read stated masks don't help, and it was "controversial". I am a scientist and it is not controversial. I am astonished that this Inn would risk the health and safety of their guests. They have lost my business. Also, if Jamie can't tolerate a mask, she can wear a full face shield which is better than nothing. I'm very disappointed.

Stayed one night. Check-in was great. We had room #7 just off the common area. Great view, nice deck to sit on. Shower and room were Great! Bed was a little worn but still OK. Right downtown with shops and places to eat with-in easy walking. Would stay hear again for sure! Check out was a breeze.

We went to Lowell for a family event & stayed at the Main Street Inn. The place is so cute, rooms are comfortable, very clean & nicely decorated. They have great common areas with kitchens, TV’s with comfortable seating too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again in the future.

A very nicely appointed and comfortable hotle located right on the river in Lowell. Super friendly staff. Lots of little things done right. Only seven rooms here, but very well run. Great place at a great price.

Whilst the exterior looks stern, the interior reception is quite quirky, with cashier grills, old style telephone boxes and a very friendly welcome. The hotel rooms are wonderful, room 7 has a view over the lake with a balcony and a double shower. The hotel is ideally located for restaurants and is easy to access. If there is any criticism, the only one that can be made is when the room below 7 turns on their ceiling fan, the electrical hum and vibration can be felt in the room. A beautiful place to visit
