Detailed Reviews
Maple Cove B&B is a hidden gem! The room was immaculate, the meals unparalleled, and the hosts most welcoming (from a socially appropriate distance of course 😊). Every detail seems chosen for comfort and the room appointments make it clear they have thought of everything. The grounds are beautiful and our suite made us feel as if we’d steeped back in time and we the only ones there. We will certainly return.

What a delightful facility! Full of beautiful decor throughout, with the movie theme of Casablanca, Hemingway, and Hepburn! Each suite was impeccably clean, comfortable, and styled with comfortable furnishings to make us VERY comfortable.
Set in a lovely, quiet wooded property with flower gardens to die for, the overall ambience was one of relaxation as soon as we pulled through the gates. A fun highlight of the visit was the time each evening we spent with our travel companions at the firepit.
Mark and Jan were excellent hosts. Jan provided a wonderful breakfast each morning and Mark explained the intriguing history of how Maple Cove came to be.
We feel the 4 hour drive to get to Maple Cove was well worth it! We wish we lived closer so we could be frequent visitors! This place is definitely on our "A" list for the future, if our travels take us that way.
We were also pleasantly surprised at the Rochester and Rochester Hills area in general, as our actual reason for the trip was to see Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester. Maple Grove was nearby and made the whole visit even more special. We encourage others to try to fit in a stay if in the area. You will be glad you did!

This slice of heaven , especially during COVID - was the perfect get away. If you are looking for a retreat, time to relax or just be....this is the place!
The accommodations were fantastic. We found Maple Cove to be welcoming, very charming, extremely comfortable and the house beautifully decorated for Fall. Everything is so clean. The grounds are well maintained, and offer a beautiful pool and patio and several outdoor seating areas.
Breakfast was fantastic! Everything was homemade - total deliciousness and portions were very generous. I would come back for the food alone.
Mark and Jan are gracious hosts and understand hospitality. Great communication the whole way thru. The extra special touches enhanced our stay and made us feel welcomed and appreciated.
It was a very safe and positive experience. They take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of their guests and employees. We will return again and again and hope to enjoy the full experience of this amazing Bed and Breakfast.

What a fabulous time my friend and I had staying one evening at the Maple cove Inn. From the moment we walked through the door I could not have felt more at home. What a beautiful restored piece of history. Loving Care was put into every detail to assure that our stay was extraordinarily comfortable and peaceful. Jan and her husband were just fantastic. The swimming pool was so perfect. Will stay two nights next time.

Jan and Mark really know how to run a bed and breakfast, especially during these COVID-19 times.
The reservation process and check-in were seamless. Check-in was also contactless.
The inn was warm and inviting on a cold December night. It beckons you to stay. As we pulled into the driveway we saw the cutest face watching from a side door (see pics). One of the owner's dogs observed as we unloaded, but not a bark was uttered.
Everything was decorated for Christmas, so cozy and spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled of magic. I have to find out what they use to wash the linens.
I have Celiac's disease, so no wheat for me. I thought I'd be lucky if I got gluten free (GF) toast with breakfast. Instead I had the same breakfast as my husband, but GF: a breakfast mini bundt bake and sausage gravy, fruit and apple fritter bread. All of it was fantastic. Oh and they had gone to the trouble to have GF snacks for us.
All of this is meant to say, if you are looking for a little escape I 1000% recommend the Maple Cove Inn. You will be well looked after and have an amazing experience.

Maple Cove is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! The house is so beautifully decorated, and our suite (The Hemmingway), was spacious, gorgeous, and full of comfortable touches. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to make their guests feel welcomed and pampered. We truly hated to leave, and cannot wait to come back.

My husband Jeff and I had a wonderful stay here. Jan was very attentive and helpful even before we arrived, providing information on places to eat and visit as well as simple instructions for when we arrived. When we got there we were greeted by Jan and then left to unpack and explore this beautiful bed-and-breakfast. Our suite was very tastefully decorated, as was the rest of the house, and furnished with everything we needed for our stay and more. The property is very peaceful with pretty landscaping and a huge wrap around porch. They have a nice built-in pool and a lot of seating and areas to relax. Jan made us a wonderful breakfast both mornings and some nice desserts were left by our rooms each night. There are some good restaurants very nearby and great walking trails for hiking, and also some little shops in town. We love the location and the wonderful hospitality and I would definitely recommend it!😊

We stayed in the Casablanca room suite for part of our honeymoon. It was beautiful and very spacious. The bathroom was exquisite with a large and beautiful soaking tub and a large shower as well. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully plated with a good variety in the food selection. Access to the stocked pantry was also very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent the night to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in The Plantation Room, which is so beautifully decorated and has a very relaxing atmosphere about it. There is a very spacious and also beautifully decorated sitting room attached to the bedroom. The bathroom was super clean and had everything you could ask for in it.
The breakfast was served to us outside, by the pool. Jan, the hostess, was so friendly and made us feel at home and relaxed. The breakfast was delicious!

Just a lovely old, 1910, farmhouse lovingly restored into a fantastic B&B. Jan texted us our entry code the day of our arrival and we were able to pull under the entry portico to unload our suitcases. We stayed in the first floor Casablanca Suite off of the common area. It had a large comfortable chicly decorated den, a large bedroom with a very comfortable king bed. The linens and towels were extremely soft. The bathroom had a very large tub and shower with a standard and hand held shower head. Sheila loved the skylight. After a wonderful nights sleep Jan served us lemon ricotta pancake with blueberry compote and lemon curd, scrambled egg, link sausage, fruit, and a blueberry muffin. The B&B is out in the country without being too terribly far from town. Food and service was awesome.
