The Inn was very welcoming and private. Homemade cookies awaited us upon arrival! We stayed in the Casablanca room that had a private entrance to the porch--which was lovely! The pool, 3-8 feet in depth was quite refreshing. Very relaxing way to spend the afternoon. It was surrounded with lots of porch tables and chairs (and firepits-though we did not use) They had at least 3 "mosquitoes zappers" that kept the area free from pests! We only saw the caretakers for morning breakfast which was served on the porch at our request. Breakfasts (we stayed two days) were attractive, unique and scrumptious!!! We definitely would recommend; we hope to make a yearly visit. The city of Romeo is quaint and nearby. We had dinner at the White Horse Inn in Metamora which was also very nice. Not a lot around especially if rainy.

I was lucky enough to stay at the August house for four days for my wedding. The first two nights were spent with my bridesmaids and the later two with my husband. All of us absolutely loved it! The August house is stunning and comfortably housed 4 girls yet was cozy enough for my husband and I. Breakfast was delicious! Better than any restaurant and they worked around dietary restrictions. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! We look forward to staying at Maple Cove again!

My husband Jeff and I had a wonderful stay here. Jan was very attentive and helpful even before we arrived, providing information on places to eat and visit as well as simple instructions for when we arrived. When we got there we were greeted by Jan and then left to unpack and explore this beautiful bed-and-breakfast. Our suite was very tastefully decorated, as was the rest of the house, and furnished with everything we needed for our stay and more. The property is very peaceful with pretty landscaping and a huge wrap around porch. They have a nice built-in pool and a lot of seating and areas to relax. Jan made us a wonderful breakfast both mornings and some nice desserts were left by our rooms each night. There are some good restaurants very nearby and great walking trails for hiking, and also some little shops in town. We love the location and the wonderful hospitality and I would definitely recommend it!😊

This is our 5th visit to the Maple Cove Bed & Breakfast. This is a nice private getaway that is close enough to everything if we want to venture out to Oxford, Lake Orion, or the Rochester areas. This place is a great because it seems to fit whatever mood we are in when we visit. If we just want to relax, we sit on the porch in the rocking chairs. If we want to explore, we are only a short drive away from restaurants, bars, trails, or golf courses. I cannot say enough about the breakfast provided at the Inn. They are truly masterpieces.

WOW! What a place! My wedding was this past weekend (yay!), and most of bridal party and myself were able to stay at Maple Cove. All I can say is that it was absolutely incredible. Seriously - the rooms were insanely comfortable, spacious, and luxurious...the food was mouth-watering from first glance and first taste (never have I EVER had a better breakfast than Jan's lemon ricotta pancakes and all the accompanying goodies)...the soft sheets and welcoming decor... the fun pool and overall gorgeous scenery... EVERYTHING was 100% perfect. They were thoughtful, communicative, patient, and understanding of everything. Throughout my very fast-paced weekend, I was able to come back to Maple Cove, gather with friends, take a dip in the pool, and treat myself to relaxation thanks to their incredible place. It was so fun to "treat ourselves" to literally the VERY BEST place any of us had EVER stayed (I heard everyone bragging to other wedding guests about where they were staying). One of my highlights from my wedding weekend was getting to hang out on the porch and take an evening swim just me and my maid of honor before going to my rehearsal. I cherish all the care and attention that Jan and Mark put into their place. Perfection, pure perfection. Regarding the rooms: If you're with a group, the August House is AMAZING to have all to yourselves! There were five of us who stayed in there and loved it! If it's just you and a friend/partner then treat yourself to one of the incredibly beautiful suites in the main house - I was in love with the Casablanca personally! All those rooms are jaw-dropping in their beautiful decor and surprising spaciousness.

While Maple Cove B&B is literally only 30 minutes from my home, I felt as though I had entered a magical place. I stayed in the Hepburn suite because I love blue and white, but I loved the window seats and the walls of windows! I needed a few days away after a long emotional year and got exactly what I went for. Peace, tranquility, comfort, great breakfasts, and the homemade cookies left in my room. Jan was a delightful innkeeper, always knowing when I needed alone time or when I needed conversation. Mark did wave to me twice while on a tractor, lol. Will definitely recommend to friends and go back on my own. Might become an annual retreat for me.

What a delightful facility! Full of beautiful decor throughout, with the movie theme of Casablanca, Hemingway, and Hepburn! Each suite was impeccably clean, comfortable, and styled with comfortable furnishings to make us VERY comfortable. Set in a lovely, quiet wooded property with flower gardens to die for, the overall ambience was one of relaxation as soon as we pulled through the gates. A fun highlight of the visit was the time each evening we spent with our travel companions at the firepit. Mark and Jan were excellent hosts. Jan provided a wonderful breakfast each morning and Mark explained the intriguing history of how Maple Cove came to be. We feel the 4 hour drive to get to Maple Cove was well worth it! We wish we lived closer so we could be frequent visitors! This place is definitely on our "A" list for the future, if our travels take us that way. We were also pleasantly surprised at the Rochester and Rochester Hills area in general, as our actual reason for the trip was to see Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester. Maple Grove was nearby and made the whole visit even more special. We encourage others to try to fit in a stay if in the area. You will be glad you did!

We love Maple Cove B&B. The beds are super comfortable, the food is the best, and room very clean. Loved the little treats that are left to delight your taste buds! But the breakfasts are the crowning touch! A tray of deliciousness! Our favorite B&B!

Maple Cove is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! The house is so beautifully decorated, and our suite (The Hemmingway), was spacious, gorgeous, and full of comfortable touches. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to make their guests feel welcomed and pampered. We truly hated to leave, and cannot wait to come back.

This was our 3rd stay within 8 months and look forward to another. The place is amazing with each room beautifully decorated not to mention the food - DELICIOUS! We have stayed twice in the Casablanca suite with our most recent in the Hemingway suite, not sure which we like better. The location has a charming country setting but centrally located between Rochester and Lake Orion / Oxford. To anyone looking for a romantic getaway that offers so much, we strongly recommend Maple Cove. Thank you Mark & Jan for making us feel welcome!
