Just the perfect place to stay within Leland. While it has issues this place is perfectly situated to walk anywhere in Fishtown. It was relaxing, sitting outside, listening to the rush of the water, flowing from the dam. A short walk to the beach, to the Manitou boat cruise and the harbor. The room was clean, comfortable and at times... More

It's been 20 years since we've been up to Leland. On a whim we decided to take a ride..we looked online, found Falling Waters and they had our dates open. We had room 301, at the edge of the falls with a beautiful view of Fishtown and lots of little shops. Our room has 2 floors, 2 Q beds, and a... More

My wife and i stayed here 2 nights in a 2 queen room. 201. This is an outstanding location on the river next to the damn, in a sleepy northern town. Damn water noise sounds will lull you to sleep unless you like total quite. Very short walk 100 yards to the beach with outstanding sunset views. The Bed was... More

I was in Leland to photograph a band over the Memorial Day holiday weekend and decided to stay at the Falling Waters Lodge. Admittedly I had some hesitation as my prior visit found the rooms dingy and in need of updates. Happily I can report the room I stayed in was newly remodeled including carpet and very clean. The folks... More

My family and I stayed at Falling Waters back in 2012 for 4 nights- yes, the hotel is dated, HOWEVER that is part of its charm (or so my family and I think) I was super excited to be there, and I can say this was an amazing hotel. As I said, yes, it's dated, but the location, the beach,... More

Nice location on the river and Lake Michigan right outside. Close to cute shops and good food. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, with kitchen, very clean, nice beds. Could use new curtains and some chairs but all in all a pleasant visit.

This place is right on the Leland falls of Fishtown. The view from your room is great and the sound of the waterfall is great at night for sleeping. The surrounding area is great and the wine festival in June is just the best.

We came up for my nephews wedding. Roughly 80 people invaded Fish Town and Falling Waters Lodge. Wonderful place to stay. Rustic but comfortable. We needed more washcloths after a trip to the office cleaning staff appeared immediately. Short walking distance to town and cool shops to check out. it was very relaxing being on the docks and watching the... More
