I have stayed at this Comfort Inn twice. It is truly the best in Landing. The suites are spacious and all of the workers are friendly. Unlike some hotels, these walls are thick and you hear no noise outside the room. It is a super place. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Our room was very spacious and had a balcony. No view, but it was nice to have the open air. Room appeared to be clean and the bathroom was in good condition, may have been redone not too long ago. There was a spot in the bottom of the tub where the paint had come off, they should touch it up.
Only complaints I have about the property were that there were no chairs on the balcony or towel bar in the bathroom. Could have used another grab bar to get out of shower a little easier. Also had to be a little bit of a contortionist to reach the toilet paper. I'm very picky, but didn't have much to complain about here. There was a little bit of noise from the interstate, but overall, the motel was very quiet and peaceful. There are many choices of restaurants nearby, some that aren't even advertised on google. Easy on and off the interstate.
There was a small breakfast with choice of sausage, egg, & cheese biscuit or egg & cheese on a wheat tortilla. We had to ask about it, as clerk did not voluntarily tell us upon check-in.
Overall, would stay again.

We had a 2 night stay and later a 1 night stay at this hotel. I thought we were supposed to have a non-smoking room for the first stay, but the room smelled of cigarette smoke. There were minor cleanliness issues (tangle of hair/carpet fibers at the end of one of the staircase banisters). I liked the price, and the free breakfast, and the free WiFi. There are stores and restaurants, such as Walmart and Steak And Shake, nearby. There are hotels closer to where we were visiting, but we will probably continue to use this hotel because we feel at home here.

Dear Wendy, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. Your feedback is very important to us and we can use this information to help make improvements needed to make your next stay even better than your last! I would like to apologize on behalf of our staff in regards to the odor of your room on your first stay. We are in fact a non-smoking facility, but sometimes guests do not follow that law. However, I am pleased you enjoyed your overall stay and where our hotel is located! Thank you again for your business and we look forward to seeing you in the future. The only thing good was the location and bed. Bed was comfortable and would have slept great. However, at 3am, couple decided to get into an argument. Yelling and slamming doors didn't help. Doors shut loudly even when not having an argument. Doors were shut loudly all night and morning. Breakfast was typical. Decided to stay here because the hotel usually stay in is under new management. After this experience, will be going back to the same hotel usually stay in for business.

Clean, polite staff, and and a closed pool and hot tub. Interestingly sign sheet states prices reduced due to closed pool and hot tub, but same prices as always..... Hot waffles, yogurt, cereal, eggs and sausage for breakfast. Good coffee with choice of regular and bold.

We stayed here fur to the high ratings. Big mistake. This motel needs to be gutted and redone.

Pros:

Comfortable beds
Thick, soft towels
Pet friendly
Nicely decorated for the holidays

Cons:

Holes in the carpet in our room.
Carpet in the halls is coming apart at the seams
The danish pasties were old. The jelly filling was dried out.
The tub had been chipped many times and then touched up.
Seats in the dining area were worn.
No room service without requesting it. Even then it might not be done.

Overall decent place. good breakfast. a little pricey for the hotel in my opinion. One of the ladies at the desk wasn't as nice as she could have been. She was a A little short with us. Room was decent but someone was smoking in one of hte rooms and it stunk in the hall. I think it was against their policy. Some people don't follow the rules.

This place was so dirty! Hardly couldn’t sleep in the bed. There was I don’t know what is was running down the side of the bed. They could have at least tried to clean it off. It was also crack heads in and out of the place. Pot being smoke in the building, but the would not allow cigarettes! Staff was nice, but it wasn’t clean and would not stay there alone!

I would honestly give this zero stars if given the option. The whole place smelt like weed when you walked into the lobby, and the smell was everywhere. As if that wasn't bad enough, upon entering the room, it smelt so bad of a b.o./mildew and there were crumbs of some kind in the bed. We switched rooms and the second room was no better. Thank goodness the window opened so we could get some fresh air to sleep. The room also had 2 double beds, not queen. The staff were friendly enough, but had we not driven 16 hours to get here, we would have found another motel.

The bathrooms in this hotel need to be urgently updated. The toilets are made for people with a rear end the size of an 8-year old and to take a shower, you need to be vertically challenged. I had to bed down so far to rinse the shampoo out of my hair that I almost fell over in the super-small tub. The bathrooms in this hotel need a drastic makeover to be competitive. Although this hotel is clean and otherwise a nice stay, there are too many other acceptable hotels in the area to put up with this inconvenience.

yes, they only allow pets on the first floor so I'm pretty sure 2nd and 3rd floor rooms have never had pets in them
