Great location, centrally located to our activities and a short seven minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. A.J. made certain we knew what events were going on in the area and was extremely friendly. TV reception was spotty, but a large library of their DVDs were steps away, and we were out and about most of the time, and enjoyed... More

We had a lovely stay at the White Rabbit! I don't know what the negative reviews are complaining about. Our room was very clean, fresh, and cozy. The jacuzzi tub was in the room rather than the bathroom, but that's not unusual for older B&Bs and we enjoyed it. There was a huge dvd selection to choose from for nights... More

Wife and I visited 8-15-15. Old, mold and mildew smell. Rotting leaves everywhere around a very unkept outdoor area. Dining area old, hole in ceiling, paint pulling off ceiling, broken chair, food classified as a waste. Save your money and go somewhere else--we left and went to a motel after one night. I had booked three nights, but took the... More

A quick weekend getaway from Chicago to check out Journeyman Distillery and Greenbush Brewery led us to AJ and the White Rabbit. It has more character than a stuffy hotel and I would absolutely go back. There are no amenities, so if you're looking for luxury, keep looking. But it's clean, affordable, and charming. The room was very small and... More

My boyfriend took me away for a weekend of relaxation. The setting was wonderful. A.J was a great host. But the room is very run down. Peeling paint, very very dusty. The pillows were old and flat, mattress old and hard Every-time we switched on the fire place a metal piece came off. The bed was made but no clean... More

We stayed in Dusty's Cabin at the end of March with our dog. The cabin was very nice and comfortable and not run-down at all. The cottage has rustic charm with all the wood beams and an old wood-burning fireplace. The hot tube is right outside and is private from other rooms. The cabin backs up to woods which is... More

I've stayed here 3 times now in the wooded room. The bed is hard with a piece of wire sticking out this last time. It needs a new mattress-pillowtop would be nice. He could up the price $10 and cover the cost soon for a new set. The twig headboard kept me up the last time (dusty) and I was... More

My husband and I spent two nights here over the summer and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and the jacuzzi tub was especially nice. There are a lot of choices for breakfast, though none of them are hot. AJ has the perfect level of welcome without being over the top. There is complimentary water and soda in... More
