I loved it. Stayed in the room where Jim Harrison wrote Legends of the Fall. Homey ambiance with large porch for socializing with other guests, or just reading. Swimming was great except for a few rocks to cross before you get to the sandbar.

I was invited by friends to come up to the Jolli Lodge. I really enjoyed the place. It was great for kids. It had kayaks, a zip line, bikes, shuffle board etc. The kids had a great time. The place itself is a little dated but it adds character to the place. It clean, has great views and will great... More

Have been going here on and off for the last 25 or so years. Have always stayed at the Lodge. Yes it's old. No, it does not provide Wi-fi, room service or air conditioning.....but you stay here for the unparalleled view of Lake Michigan. Greg, the owner, is terrific. When we arrive, we always tell him "we're home"!! Two miles... More

We stayed at the Jolli-Lodge almost every summer from 1990-2011. In the beginning, we were totally in love with this facility. The setting is gorgeous. The beach and Good Harbor Bay are awesome. Access to kayaks, canoes, innertubes and other water sports equipment is great. We have stayed in the following accommodations: Lakeview, Hilltop House, South Beach and Grace House... More

Ever since stumbling on the Jolli Lodge almost 10 years ago, we come back and back and back every year baring something unforeseen in our schedule or theirs. This is not the Ritz with room service, it is a tremendous Lodge with real people and we totally feel as if we have found our relaxation sanctuary.

Jolii Lodge is truly a unique experience! Low key, low cost and very comfortable. We felt as if we were staying at a relative's home rather than a hotel. The sunsets are breathtaking. Amenities abound - kayaks, paddle board, pedal boat, Hobie cat, bicycles, zip line, beach chairs, tennis court. I wish we'd had more time to spend here. This... More

Wonderful opportunity to visit. It defines vintage. Quiet. Ideal for someone who wishes to unplug although wifi is available in the lodge. Enough beach to walk. Not air-conditioned but steady Lake Michigan breezes keep you cool.

Just returned from a wonderful family vacation on Lake Michigan at the Jolli Lodge. In this case, the location really made the vacation great! There were 22 of us staying in 4 apartments/lodges and two rooms in the main lodge. The setting couldn't have been more spectacular with over 700 feet of shore line fronting the lodge. There are beach... More

Last summer marked our family's 26th consecutive summer visit to the Jolli Lodge. As in the past, both of our grown children made the trip even though our son lives in Europe. In addition to our son, his fiance who is from Brazil also joined us. To say that we love this place is an understatement - it has meant... More

Stayed here for a weekend with the girls (6). We had two adjoining apartments with lots of room for all of us. We each had our own bedroom, and, with two baths, living rooms, and kitchens, there was room enough to do whatever you wanted. Granted we were gone during the day and at night we hung out together in... More
