Room had drug paraphernalia in the restroom, trash in the trash cans, no towels, dirty socks on the couch. There was no soap either. The toilet was full of toilet paper overflowing. And there was a roach. Will not give a refund, but instead a 50% discount on my next stay.
We booked a stay for Feb. 5, 2021. Upon check-in, we found the hotel to be dirty. When we got into our room, a window was open and there was 3 inches of snow on the window sill. Also, our room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty and the room was freezing. We quickly packed up and went to the front desk to check out and get a refund. One week later we are still being charged and unable to speak to anyone from the hotel. They won't return a call. The email communication has been terrible. And we are forced to work with the credit card company to block the charge as our only option despite being told upon check out that the charges were removed because we DID NOT stay there.
Not happy about my stay drove two hours for a hot tub room I couldn't even use. the staff was completely useless and the manager still hasn't called me back even after calling 3 times and trying to get ahold of them. Worst stay of any room I've ever had
I have usually had good service with Baymont which is why we chose it. The 2 women at the front desk when we checked in were nice but there were multiple issues that I didn't expect: *We were put in room 302 and got all settled in when we realized there was no fridge, they moved us to room 318, it took us 3 trips to move to the other end of the building. *Room 318 had the door busted in at one time and there was a gap between the door and the doorjam big enough to see into the room that we had to stuff with a hand towel so no one could see in. *We were preparing to shower when we found there were no towels at all, had to go back to the desk and they only gave us 2 towels for 4 people. They were dirty looking and one of the washcloths looked and smelled like a cleaning rag. Told them about the door and they said it was fine because you could only get in with a key. *We were climbing into bed and found the strip of material across the bottom of one bed was dirty and there were burrs and small woodchips under the blanket of the other. I went back to the front desk where there was a man now working and I showed it to him. He picked it up and said, "it's a wood chip, what do you want me to do?" I said I don't believe it should be under the blanket. He just stared at me. I asked for clean sheets and more towels which he gave me. *There was trash, partially filled bottles of pop under the bed.…
We ended up staying here for one night during a road trip. I have never stayed at such a disgusting hotel in my life. The walk to the room is gross-trash in the hallways, people smoking, and we saw a woman with no pants on. Only one light in the room actually worked. There were cigarette holes in the sheets of both beds, the smoke detector was not attached to the wall, the floors were sticky. We are in the middle of a pandemic and there wasn’t even soap in the room.
