Just wanted to say what a great experience we had to stay in this hotel and in the biggest room. My son who just beat leukemia won tickets to the WWE event at wings event center and because he won the tickets they put my family up in the grand loft and decorated it for him. Great experience with great service and transportation to and from the show. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Customer Service I received at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo, MI was superb. From the moment I arrived at the entrance, I was greeted and served with the utmost respect. I was traveling with a fractured back and unable to lift heavy items. Josh removed my luggage and escorted me to my room where he placed everything where I could easily unpack without needing to move things. Ash is a great asset to this company. Her hospitality during the check-in process started my weekend off on a great note. Gabrielle in housekeeping was kind and thorough, even doing a little extra to make my stay extra comfortable. The business suite on the 7th floor was roomy and comfortable. I appreciated the separate thermostat for the sleeping quarters. At the end of my stay, a very nice young man retrieved my luggage and escorted me to my vehicle. While there I enjoyed dinner at Old Burdick’s inside the hotel, wine tasting just down the street, and strolling along the Kalamazoo Mall, the outdoor walking and shopping area just outside the hotel. I stay here often and always have a great experience.

We received a wonderful value for our stay and celebrated my sister's 50th birthday. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the facilities were clean and up to date. The suite we enjoyed had a beautiful tub for soaking and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.

The jacuzzi room was perfect for my fiancé and I to get away and enjoy a relaxing romantic weekend, almost felt kinda sad to leave. The tub had strong jets which I like, checking out online is plus for me, and the key drop off box when exiting the parking ramp was very convenient. Also felt really safe knowing only a room key holder can use the elevator.

The rooms are average sized rooms but if you upgrade the rooms are so much larger. If you are traveling with more than 2-3 people or staying for more than a day, I recommend the upgrade just so you have more room to spread out. Ive stayed in both the standard room and the suite with the private bedroom and kitchenette. Both are great! The rooms are clean and are kept updated. The pool, hot tub and gym are very nice as well. The pool has a cool waterfall. The hot tub is large and hot. The gym has up to date equipment and is clean. Make sure to either add breakfast on to your room rate or spend the extra money to purchase it. The buffet isn't your standard buffet. The have specialty items made to order such as pancakes, omelets, and freshly squeezed OJ.
Close to all sorts of neat restaurants, cool bars and stores. Many within walking distance on the downtown Kalamazoo Mall.

My wife and I spent a night in the jacuzzi tub suite and were happy with the service we received from all employees and room service. However, the amenities were severely lacking in quality; for starters, the room was set to 68 degrees, and even by morning, it refused to reach over 70 degrees, which for the first day of snow was not on par with the price we paid. Another issue we found was that in one of the nicest suites, the TV was 720p, and the guide not only didn't work but froze the Tv every time it was accessed. The Jacuzzi was good, but just good, it doesn't allow you to add more hot water once you are inside, so after 10 minutes, the water was already cooler than I would have liked. We were happy with the room service's speed and quality, the food was excellent, and we had 2 meals in around 20 minutes from placing the order. Overall our stay was average at an above-average price.

Moderately1Happy, Thank you for your feedback! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed our staff's customer service and our room service from Old Burdick's! I do apologize about the signal quality you received on your television! When the weather here in Kalamazoo starts acting up, so does our satellite's ability to produce a clear picture. We are working to improve this issue so there are less disruptions and more time for our guests to enjoy watching television during their stay. I will send your review along to our engineering team to see if there is a solution to create more waterflow to the jacuzzi after it's been filled, as well as address the consistency of temperature in our suites. I hope you choose to stay with us in the future so we're able to provide you with the "wow!" experience you deserve. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you! Jess P. Lead Concierge

First, before booking by phone, always check their rate posted online (I would have booked online if their sit were working properly), because the rate they quoted me as the lowest one on the phone was actually nearly $40 than the rate on their site. He went ahead and matched it when I pointed it out. It also took me three calls just to get through to someone. Once I arrived at the hotel, service was much better, but still not super sharp. The room definitely needs a refresh.

Oh no! On behalf of our hotel and staff, I am so sorry to read this review! I'm goad that we were able to match the rate for you upon check in, but I am so sorry that it so had to reach us. We pride ourselves for our customer service, and I am so truly sorry that we were not able to provide that for you over the phone. Our hotel is actually in the process of remodeling all of our guest rooms right now! By the end of the year, all of our rooms should be completely redone and modern! Once again I am so sorry for the problems you encountered, and would love to hear more. Please feel free to reach out to me, I would love to make things right in any way that I can! We truly appreciate your feedback and will use it to fine tune our operations. Ashley Reijonen Front Office Team Lead areijonen@ghgkz.com 269-343-3333

A last minute work trip to Kalamazoo meant I had to find a good hotel, centrally located, within easy reach of multiple locations arranged for my visit.
Radisson Plaza Hotel was a great option with easy booking, nice rooms, and apps to download for earning rewards, getting invoices, and even booking room service.
The reason for a dropped star was due to the hotel decor, not my style being of an older, dark, wooden, traditional type rather than a clean crisp modern style that would be my choice. This is clearly a personal preference and may be ideal for many visitors.
Pleased there was a Starbucks in the foyer which always helps prepare you for the day ahead.

My company had booked me into the Radisson for 2 nights to attend a business meeting nearby. When I checked in I was informed that due to room shortages I had been upgraded to a King suite! I was also informed that he parking lot across the way was free with room reservations so I was off to a great start! Within the property are 3 restaurants, Burdick's, Zazios and for breakfast there's the 'Morning dish'. I enjoyed both Zazios and the Morning dish. Food and service were very good and the prices moderate. I did not have a chance to visit Burdick's but from what I heard from Colleagues it was also popular. My suite was very nice but there is traffic noise from the main street so I was disturbed a few times during the night from plowing activity. The gym facility is quite large and is used by patrons from outside the hotel as well. At 5:30am it was already busy. By 7 am all the cardio equipment was in use as well as the free weights & most of the machines. Best to get in early! Overall I enjoyed my stay very much and certainly would recommend it!

What is the maximum height clearance in the car park
Answer from Jessica P
Hi Linda! The maximum height clearance is 6ft 5in in our parking garage. Please let us know if you have any further questions! We can be reached at 269-343-3333. Thank you!
Answer from Jessica P
Jessieka S, Unfortunately, our pool & jacuzzi are closed until further notice. However, the gym portion is open if you're trying to get a work-out in! To keep our guests safe and healthy, our breakfast restaurant is closed as it does operate buffet style. We do have Starbucks available with breakfast sandwich options, coffee, and your favorite latte, as well as some great dining options available right outside the hotel in downtown Kalamazoo. If there's anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to call us at 269-343-3333. We look forward to seeing you! -Jessica, Lead Concierge
