Had a great time at the cabin and in the trails. Brother brought his RZR and we rented one from Best Bear. They really seem to care about your experience and accommodated us any way they could. Great experience and great people working there. Thanks again!

We rented a 4 seater ORV for eight hours and hit some beautiful trails! Very scenic and Best Bear was great to rent from. Very friendly and took care of all our needs! We went to Luther for lunch and enjoyed our time!

Stayed there for early Salmon trip which is the first time out side of the Baldwin area for a change. The place is geared more for RV's and bikers, ATV's. Facilties were pretty much as stated which suited us fine. No real contact at all with management other then get the key and no clean up at all or any help to do it yourself. Trash kinda backed up over 5 nights. The last night we stayed someone moved in next to the cabin building and had dogs.. hound dogs.. which we found out about around 2am at night till 7am in the morning .. that was it we decided not staying any longer. Hard to fish on 2 hrs of sleep. We even checkout out before 11 am for a 6 night stay but left day early the least they could have done was offer to give us back our money for the next night or credit to the future. Neither was done... not coming back.

We did not stay at the campground. We did rent a RZR for the day and it was a blast. Staff was super helpful with directions, instructions, and tips. Easy process and great customer service. The RZR was in great shape and performed very well. We did a self guided tour. Maps and the RZR's GPS worked great.

My husband and I rented one of their ATVs for a 4 hour session and had a blast! The owner allowed us to check-in a little late due to heavy rain, which was really sweet! The guy in charge of the rentals was great at explaining everything to us. We would definitely rent from them again! Didn’t stay at the campground since we have a cabin up there, but it looked clean and the bathroom facilities were in great shape!

Rented a 6 seater ATV but they had it break down, so the owner called before our time and asked if I had multiple licensed drivers in the party and allowed us to rent 2 four seaters for the same price. We had a blast! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would absolutely rent from them again!

Low cost ATV rental, had a blast! They offer bigger vehicles than about anyone else so my whole family could ride. Owners were very nice to work with. I will be going again some time. I didn't stay in any of the lodging.

Exactly what we were liking for. After a backcountry trip we needed a place for the night, by chance found this campground with cabins. The grounds may be a bit rustic but the owners and the amenities are top notch and very affordable. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and everything was well thought out. Our neighbor sitting next to a campfire outside his front door summed it up best: “I travel here for business and this is less expensive than a hotel and you can’t have a campfire in a hotel.” The owners went out of their way to help me fix some broken equipment, and as a result I had a comfortable stay. I look forward to visiting again, thank you.

We weren't sure where to stay while in Michigan, so chose this place due to the cost, kitchenette and proximity to activities. It was clean and quiet; about a half hour from Lake Michigan, a little over an hour from Sleeping Bear, and a half hour from Cadillac. This is a good place to stay if you don't mind driving to do "tourist stuff". I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was compared to hotels, etc. No constant slamming doors, people running down the hallway, or traffic noises. That was great!

We needed a place sleep close to where a friends funeral was being held. We also really wanted to cook breakfast as a family and have some family time. What a delight to meet owners Matt and Carrie. Our cabin was extremely clean and had all the amenities that we needed. I loved being able to cook the breakfast items I brought with me in the nice kitchen. Definitely recommend it.
