Liz's place is sooooo CLEAN, quiet and beautiful!!! We booked 2 rooms, John Calvin and Jonathan Edwards rooms for 5 nights ( a family of 4). The house and the rooms are very well decorated and we felt like we were at home. Our family loved the place. There is free Wifi access, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, and body lotion. The house itself, the hostess Liz, and the surroundings are just amazing! The location is near many beaches, nature trails, and downtown Holland. Liz is so wonderful and such an amazing cook! Breakfast is so delicious! Liz gave us great suggestions where to go while we were here. She had free kayaks and bikes for us to borrow too. It was so fun biking to downtown Holland. We would definitely come back here when we are in Holland again. I would give this place more than 10 stars! You will not regret picking Cottonwood Inn Bed and Breakfast!

Driving into Holland, Michigan and you're instantly transformed into an oasis of towering oak trees and majestic pines. Michigan is known for its beautiful landscape and the Cottonwood Inn is no exception. From the moment you pull into driveway, you feel sense of warmth and calming nature.

The Inn itself is nestled along a quiet dead-end street full of lush greenery. Each guest has their own parking stall which is a nice feature. As for the exterior of the Inn, there is a nice front porch with ample seating for four individuals. If you stroll around back, you'll find a large deck as well as backyard with more seating.

Inside, the house in finished in early American rustic charm. The owner Liz met us as we arrived and we found her as charming as her home. Like her surroundings, Liz has a quiet disposition that instantly puts you at ease. Her homemade breakfasts are a lovely way to begin the day.

The drive into downtown Holland is about an 8 minute trip. Liz is quite helpful with suggestions on eateries and things to do. We would return to Holland, MI but would return just to visit Liz and her home again!

Barn-style architecture with farm and antique furniture look inside with more modern construction for nice atmosphere. Great breakfast, quiet & clean BnB, host Liz is a delight, 10 min from downtown Holland. upstairs rooms are smaller, bedroom on main floor is very spacious with electric fireplace, walking closet and private screen porch.

We loved our stay. The house was gorgeous and spotless. Our host was a joy to interact with and her breakfast, delicious. The location was only a 10 minute drive to Holland and 20 minutes or less to the beach. Very quiet throughout the day and relaxing. The grounds and wildlife added to the visit to make it more enjoyable . We highly recommend the Cottonwood Inn.

Liz was a great host. Her bed and breakfast is nestled in a quiet residential area, the rooms were elegantly furnished and it is such a warm welcoming home. Beautiful accommodations and fantastic breakfast. She gave great recommendations for the local area restaurants and sights and our whole trip through Michigan. Holland was a beautiful town and a must-see.

The moment we stepped inside the Cottonwood Inn we could feel the peaceful calm. It was like that our entire stay. Liz was an excellent host. She did everything to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. My husband and I enjoyed the Charles Spurgeon room. We were traveling with our daughter so she stayed in the Samuel Rutherford room. We shared the bathroom and it worked out perfectly. Highly recommend that arrangement if you are traveling with family. We arrived hungry so Liz recommended the Paisley Pig in town. It was one of the best meals on our trip around Michigan. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay the Cottonwood Inn is the best choice.
We’ve stayed in many bed and breakfast Inns and this was one of the best! Liz will do all she can to make sure your stay is perfect.

We spent the weekend at the Cottonwood Inn and we had the most LOVELY time. The pictures don’t do it justice where charm and beauty is concerned - the rooms and home are just stunning. Our hostess Liz was a delight and an amazing cook, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and socializing with the other guests. We had a chilly, rainy day on Saturday and we were perfectly content to cozy up in our quaint room and nap and read books. We will 100% be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with warm hospitality!

My husband and I took a "babymoon" along the North West Part of Michigan, starting in Holland and ending at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. Our room here was clean and comfortable. The sheets and mattress were superb. The host Liz was very gracious and inviting. She gave us a map of the area along with recommendations for food and sites. We used the complimentary bikes, which my husband describes as the best loaner bikes he's ever used. They were in great working order and biking the area was a safe and great way to explore Holland. Breakfast was delicious. ... Belgian waffles with strawberries and whip cream served alongside bacon on warmed plates. The overall house is lovely with lots of history and reclaimed wood. Would highly recommend this B&B!!!
