Fabulous hostess. Beautiful property. We stayed in the John Calvin room that has its own screened in deck. So peaceful. Very quiet and comfortable. Would recommend if you are staying in The Holland area.
We spent the weekend at the Cottonwood Inn and we had the most LOVELY time. The pictures don’t do it justice where charm and beauty is concerned - the rooms and home are just stunning. Our hostess Liz was a delight and an amazing cook, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and socializing with the other guests. We had a chilly, rainy day on Saturday and we were perfectly content to cozy up in our quaint room and nap and read books. We will 100% be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with warm hospitality!
My husband and I took a "babymoon" along the North West Part of Michigan, starting in Holland and ending at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. Our room here was clean and comfortable. The sheets and mattress were superb. The host Liz was very gracious and inviting. She gave us a map of the area along with recommendations for food and sites. We used the complimentary bikes, which my husband describes as the best loaner bikes he's ever used. They were in great working order and biking the area was a safe and great way to explore Holland. Breakfast was delicious. ... Belgian waffles with strawberries and whip cream served alongside bacon on warmed plates. The overall house is lovely with lots of history and reclaimed wood. Would highly recommend this B&B!!!
So much charm to this old farm-house style home, from the decor to the luxurious bedding. Liz is a sweet and kind hostess and an amazing cook. We stayed upstairs where there is a bathroom shared between 3 rooms. The rooms were all full but there was never any bathroom conflict that I was aware of.
From the moment you arrive, Liz the innkeeper will make you feel right at home. She provided many helpful tips to ensure we made the most of our brief stay during the Tulip Time Festival, including suggesting we go to the nearby beach to watch the sunset high atop the dunes. Her yummy breakfast kept us full for hours, and the room was clean and comfortable with lovely bath products. We definitely enjoyed our stay, and hope to return.
Liz was so lovely and hospitable. She did everything possible to make our stay smoothe and relaxing. Every morning she made us a delicious breakfast. I'm gluten free and she was very considerate of my needs and I didn't feel Luke I was missing out on anything when breakfast came around. Our room was cute and cozy. And downtown Holland was easier to explore because of all the tips given to us by Liz. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Perfect location, comfort and host. Liz is very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating to our desires. Her breakfasts are delicious and filling. We stayed in the Calvin room and it’s perfect for couple time, whether you’re a newlywed or old married folks like us! Highly recommend this b&b.
Liz and her B&B were warm and inviting. We got to peek in all the rooms and they were charming and tidy. My dear friend Jean Marie had never been to a B&B and she was soooooo impressed. We are talking about having a annual girls trip and Cottonwood Inn is where we will most definitely stay. Thanks Liz!
We loved our stay in Holland largely due to where we stayed. Liz was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. We were able to use the bikes and stay on bike paths the whole way into downtown. Thanks so much, Liz! We will be seeing you again!
Perfect place to stay in Holland, MI. Centrally located to the beach, shopping, restaurants & wineries. Liz is the best hostess. She is lovely & gives the best recommendations on where to go & what to see. Breakfast was amazing! The house is immaculate & tastefully decorated. We loved it & will be back.
