The staff was friendly. The food at sports bar was not even edible. Nothing free to drink or cheap drinks in casino. They have good golf packages, but go out of building to eat. Bakery wasn't good for breakfast either.

My husband and I stayed for three days. The whirlpool room was large and very clean! The casino was clean and had lots of machines available. My only complaints were that the restaurants were very limited on Monday and Tuesday (in fairness, they do let you know that on the website), and the bathroom had no hooks to hang up your towels-none-which seems simple but you typically don’t want to fold up a wet towel to use later. No hook for a hand towel either. Other than that, a great stay, good food in the open restaurants, friendly staff.

We were only passing thru, but everything was great (except casino losses). Room fantastic, casino good size and able to play blackjack for a reasonable minimum, restaurants excellent. Highly recommend.

We were booked in here for a conference. Cigarette smoke is the first odor you smell as you enter the place. There was outside smoking area but it was close to the front door. Unwelcoming front desk staff. They kept asking did you check in on line? I answered yes, then the one front desk staff said to the other she needs to go to the other place. I said I was told to get my key here. To which she replies yes you pick it up here she needs to go to another place on her computer. Ugh. The room was okay, nothing like the photo here on trip advisor. It was quiet, I'll give it that, but we didn't have our rooms cleaned or towels refreshed at all. We were there 4 days, after the first day I realized there was a sign on the back of the do not disturb to make up the room... okay maybe that was my mistake. Nope put it on the door, the housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms around us but never ours. We finally called down for more towels, and soap. which was delivered and set outside our door. We know the conference coordinator and she said it was a mess from beginning to end for her, and would never have anything there again. We went to the bar one night, to 3 rude very young (are you even old enough to work at a bar) men. There antics were so unprofessional. Tweeking each others, breast area, spit wads and rubber bands were their choice of play, in between waiting on customers. Never again!

Had a King bed in the newest addition to the casino. Room was very nice, 4th floor, had a good view of the golf course and parking lot. Lots of parking, good meals and snacks. Hotel employees seem to be very helpful. Most are interested in the customer well being.

Buckle up, probably longer than a review should be. I normally don't leave reviews as I understand many things in the hospitality industry are subjective and one experience doesn't merit a bad review. However I wish I would have read a review like this prior to booking my birthday weekend. My husband and I are big gamblers, platinum diamond at Caesars , Diamond at MGM properties and so on. We had the least amount of comps and reward to this Casino, as its not a normal destination for us. We didn't let this stop us from booking as we heard they recently had a large renovation and new swimming facility. Figured it would be a nice change of scenery for the birthday weekend. Upon arriving the front desk staff must have been having a bad night, because he was incredibly rude, almost seemed annoyed that the lines we so long. Once we got our room assignment, I realized they were sticking us in the old tower, above the casino floor and I asked if there as anything left in the newly renovated tower. Without even pretending to look at the computer he told us no. Our room, was on the other side of the casino, meaning we had to lug all of our stuff through the whole casino. The noise from the Casino could be heard from all hours of the night and the rooms were incredibly outdated. (important to note, they are not the rooms you see on the pictures they provide, they are much older and all the amenities, including mattress, pillows, shower are much older than the pictures they show) oh well its just a room right, you don't go to a casino resort for the rooms, we let it go. After a night of drinking and gambling we woke up the next morning excited to check out the new pool area. We got our suits on, and headed (again through the whole casino, as we aren't on the full hotel side) only to be told we needed a wrist band for the pools. Okay, a little annoying since we then had to go back to the front desk. At the front desk they then proceed to tell us we have to purchase wrist bands. Odd, as most of the time amenities are included in your hotel price, but again, no biggie. We say we want to purchase them. To which we are told they are sold out for the whole weekend. It turns out you don't need to be staying there to use the pool, which means that there isn't even enough space for the paying hotel guests. The entire reason we went to this casino, were we didn't have above mentioned comps, is because we wanted to see the new rooms and the new pool. WE DIDNT GET TO SEE EITHER. I then went to the Casino loyalty desk, thinking the fact we lost almost 3K in the casino the night before would surely get us a wrist band for the pool. Nope. We did book our rooms over the phone not the computer, but we were never asked if we wanted to reserve a spot at the pool. How would anyone think that you needed to do this or that they would be sold out? The part that honestly bothered me the most was that nobody we spoke to seamed to care that this was happening, its customer service 101, make me feel heard and validate my concerns if you cant help. We ended up taking the day and driving up to Marquette to go to their Casino since we were so disappointed. The Casino itself is laid out nicely and there are lots of games and seats at the tables, thats the reason for the 2 stars. If you are going just for the Casino it would likely be a nice time. If you are going for the hotel, good luck...it really is a gamble if you will have a good time.

Put us in a room right above casino floor the window over looked casino games. The music could be heard all night had to run the cooling fan just to cover the sound. This was an off season week night, feel these rooms should be over flows not for someone paying with no coupons or comp points just spending a couple of nights for a relaxing trip. Further more to get to the pool we had to go through the casino floor. Also no informative information in our room with restaurants or other amenities.

Rooms are very nice. Pillows were very small and bed to firm for my liking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish more of the restaurants were open. Slots are some of the tightest slots I have ever seen. Enjoyed our stay but gaming was really tough.

Checked in and room was in older tower, February 5th. Got to the elevators and one was out of order. But other was operational, at least until next morning went to go downstairs and both elevators were out of order. An our room was on the 6th floor room 604, so was told need to use the stairs. Went to front desk to ask and was told maybe fixed that day or next day. No offer for a reduction on room or any other things to makeup for going up and down 6 flights of stairs. So we were checking out that day so had to carry luggage down 6 floors to get to the lobby. My wife and I are both in our mid 60s and while we dont think in bad shape but was not intending to walk the stairs. The day we checked out was my birthday, not what I was expecting for my day to start out. While main stay was good was left with a bad feeling about this hotel, that didnt seem to care about maintaining the faclity

Arrived to a LONG line of people waiting to check in. This long line moved quickly and the check in staff were remarkably kind! We stayed in the Sun Tower. This is the older section of the resort. Our room was spotless. Hurried off to bingo - pretty quiet for bingo. I was expecting more people. I really enjoyed the less crowded bingo hall. Husband and I decided to eat at the sports bar. The sports bar was busy. We put our order in and received really great food. Price was perfectly set as well. Headed into the casino to try our luck on some of the slot machines. Had a ton of fun. Headed up to the room around midnight. Realized at this time that the items I ordered for our anniversary were not left in our room as promised. I had called the resort two weeks prior and paid for a fruit tray, wine, cheese & sausage, etc. I called down to the front desk and explained the situation. I received a call in return apologizing as they had not delivered as promised. I was asked what the resort could do to make it right for us. I explained that it was late and we were not in need of anything at this time. The resort staff member offered for the resort to take care of our room for the night. We accepted. I felt it was important for others to know how well we were taken care of, even after a mishap. Customer service is TOP NOTCH! Thank you for making things right! We absolutely love it here and will be back again!
