Great hotel for golf trip. Four championship courses on site with three others nearby. Rooms spacious, comfortable, and updated, most with a view of something-ski slopes, golf course, pool, pond, etc. Great breakfast buffet Multiple food venues at the hotel and golf courses. Food good and service excellent. Highly recommend this resort for a great golf trip.

The Moor Course at Boyne Highlands is a very beautiful course but watch out for the many dog legs. It's a short course for women with many doglegs, so long hitters beware. Greens were in very good shape as were tee boxes and fairways. Lots of tree, too.

Highlands is a serene, beautiful resort worth visiting! Rooms are comfy, and good value for golf or ski pkgs. Has a fabulous dinner theater in summer months, "Young Americans". Worth seeing! Fabulous entertainers! The restaurants are mediocre.

My husband and I saw the 'Young Americans' with another couple - it was a wonderful evening. The young men and women are multi talented - singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, etc. It's a very high energy show and good for families with younger children. It's a bit pricey ($52 per person) but definitely worth the price. They serve appetizers...

This property is old but has been nicely renovated. Pool and hot tub, spa, golf and other outdoor activities. Rooms were well equipped with small fridge, flat screen TV, robes etc. Very nice but somewhat dark. Each room seems to have different window configurations. 10 minutes to downtown harbor springs...charming! Reasonable rates for the area which has few hotels.

Check in time is 3 p.m. Our family waited over two and a half hours, past 5:30, in the parking lot waiting for our room to get cleaned/ready. That's completely unacceptable! No apologies were made for this delay either. We have stayed here before and had a nice time, but this time the delayed check in made for an awful...

Stayed at the main lodge in family rooms with a bed and 2 bunk beds. Our group ranged in age from 65 to 82 years of age. Accomodations were average, but spent more time in the bar lounge paying off bets and watching Tigers. Staff at all golf courses and lodge, restaurants were outstanding. Golf courses were outstanding as well,...

This is a classic, old ski and golf resort. Service is very good and the accommodations are nice, albeit a little worn. However, peace and quiet were hard to find in the evening. We soon discovered the disadvantage of having a room overlooking the pool and spa and patio. If there are established quiet hours, they are not enforced. That...

Driving to Boyne Highlands is a journey into what makes Northern Lower Michigan beauty exceptional. Passing through Petosky and the scenic drive Northwest is memorable. When you drive into the Boyne Highlands drive you have a breathtaking two mile drive to the lodge for registration. And that is just the beginning of your Boyne Highlands Adventure.

Free lifts to mountain top. Hiked the beautiful trails to the golf course below. Amazing outdoor program. Great horse wranglers. Healthy happy cattle and horses. Easy to get to Petoskey State Park beach. Also close to the Petoskey Brewery. A very friendly staff in any department. Would like to work there too. Super nice rooms!
