We made a last minute reservation as were looking for a place that takes dogs. What a pleasant surprise! While this B&B caters to fly fisherman with a lovely river flowing right outside the front steps, it should rediscovered by everyone who is interested in Michigan history. It has been restored to recreate the original feel of a hunting lodge... More

I stayed here by myself in July of 2000 and had intended on staying the weekend but only lasted 1 nite and part of the next morning. I went to bed Friday nite and was awoken later on by noises downstairs of furniture moving around like chairs sliding from a table and what sounded like people sitting around a table... More

We arrived late for a quick over night. The club is very historic and parts date back to the pre-1900s. Given this do not expect the rooms to be like the Hilton Garden Inn. Each are different and sloping floors does add to the charm. I found the rooms and bathrooms to be quite clean. We greatly enjoyed the screened... More

We arrived Thurs April 23rd to snow on the ground. Need less to say our fishing was not that good and fish were hard to come by. It did warm up as the weekend advanced. The commendations were not five star, but that is not what they advertise. With the exception of the suite all rooms are shared bathrooms. I... More

Long a destination for serious (and loaded) fly fisherman, the NBOC has hosted Henry and Edsel Ford, Rockefeller and John L. Lewis (yes, that John L. Lewis, who apparently met here with Edsel Ford and Walter Chrysler Jr to discuss peacefully unionizing the auto industry, an idea that came to an abrupt halt when daddy got wind of it and... More

One minute you're in the 21st Century and the next you open a door and step into the early 20th century of pre-WWI America. This lodge harbors ghosts of the past that you could comfortably encounter and chat with without the slightest qualms. The rooms, decorations and location put you into a relaxed sense of calm. Now this is primarily... More

I would have to agree with the reviewer "depends what you're looking for" - this place is an absolute gem!! If I wanted TV, telephone, and low cost I would have just gone to a roadside Motel. My son, an avid fly fisherman, absolutely LOVED the entire experience and I personally can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed!!... More

I found the one-star review truly bizarre! This is a moment-out-of-time old fishing and hunting lodge run by nice people with great food and friendly companionship among fly-fishers. To complain about lack of internet etc. just signifies you didn't pick a place that suits your needs -- hey, there are lots of regular motels in Grayling! This place is special... More

This is the second time I have been to Fuller's. What a pleasure each time. It is back to the basics and so enjoyable. No TV, phones, or radios. Nice and peaceful sitting on the river. We were there for a girls knitting weekend. What fun. Judy the hostess is so pleasant and nice. What fun to be served all... More

We just held a knitters' retreat at Fuller's and have never been pampered more. No one appreciates good service and warm hospitality more than a bunch of women, and we got even more with Judy at her wonderful historic inn. She couldn't do enough for us. She works hard to make what she does look easy -- the sign of... More
