This is the worst experience I have ever had... 1. We got there at 3 on Friday ck in & our cabin was 47 degrees. The furnace did not work. After 1 HR the handy man showed up & fixed it. 2. The fire place did not work either & was never fixed. One of the amenities I was looking forward to. 3. There was no TV because they were changing to cable. We were never told that. 4. Went to use the jacuzzi tube & there was no plug. Never got to use that at all. 5. Saturday morning went to take our showers & no hot water. My hubby had to find the water heater & light the pilot light then we had to wait 45 min for hot water. Our friends had the same issue in the cabin rt next to us. They don't replenish anything you use. Coffee,sugar,towels etc. We did not even have coffee cups(thank god we brought our own) The beds are HORRIBLE! We came back Saturday night to find they had been in our cabin (not sure why because they never made beds or replenished anything) & they locked us out!!!!! Took me 45 min to get someone to let us in. I would never recommend this to family or friends. And their prices are not cheap!! & they never offered any discounts! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED & UPSET!

Worst Resort I have ever stayed at. Went for a Weekend wedding. Cabins smelled horrible. Very outdated. Went three times to complain and there was never anyone at the front desk. Went to check out and walked past 4 employees sitting on the curb having a smoke. Got inside and no one at the front desk or in the restaurant. Walked back to the employees to complan and they told me I would have to talk tot he owner that had already left for the day. Left my CC number and told her not to run it until i talk to the owner. My card was ran the next day. It is a real shame the place has potiential its like the staff and owner just dont care. Will never stay here again.

Went for a wedding. The facilites are very dated and had a musty smell. The water for jacuzzi had a smell, which ruined the affect. In our cottage, the cable was out, no tissue paper, no extra toilet paper, $2 coffee maker.Bed was hard as a rock. For the amount they charge,$140 night, the owners need to put more money in these little extras!

This is the kind of place u stay when u r 20 and dont care...... Where do I begin.... my husband and I decided we would stay here while in town to visit friends.... before my stay I tryed to call back to find out what we needed to bring if anything... cookware, eating utensils, if there was a place to cook, and to find out about checkin. I called 3 times and no one ever returned my phone call..... When we arrived I go to check in and the sign on the office door says to go to the restraunt they will help me.... I go to the restraunt and the hostess is texted on her phone... completely doesn't notice me then finally says do u need to check in? Apparently she does that as well so I follow her to the office. Where she says there is no place to cook except 2 community firepits.... no stove nothing... and the restraunt is not open untill 11 am every day. So no breakfast.... I then ask her if anyone checks there messages and she said yes she does and she returned all of them... I say No u didn't I called 3 times she says" your voice mail was full and then said she tryed again and it said my voicmail wasn't set up" completely untrue the number I left was my buisness phone and I never got a missed call from her. We then go to then go to the cabin and notice that we were over charged on the room so she credited it back to our card. We r still waiting for that to happen.... We get to our cabin very cute mostly clean but NO AIR-CONDITIONING......it is 91 outside... so we call the number she gave us 2 call if we needed anything, no answer 3rd call she says some one will be there soon. About 45- to an hour someone shows up and tells us sorry they can't fix it. Next morning we get a note on our door that says they can move us to a smaller cabin... At this point we just think whatever we wanna get on with our trip.... the lake is beautiful we have a great time the whole day to come home and find our neighbors are having a drunkin Karioke night and guess who is invited ..... the man who can't fix our ac and the front desk lady.... who are apparently the owners... We hear them telling everyone at the sing along about how we complained. So we were ready to pack and leave at that moment... This place has so much potential if the owners would add a fire pit and do a few little fixes... we paid 413.00 if we get our credit and we only stayed 2 nights. So we were only in our cabin a total of sleep time and in the morning waiting for our boat to pick us up... We would have stayed an entire week if someone knew what the heck was going on there.. Then to have the owners who run the place to sit not even 50 feet from our cabin and sing as loud as they can and drink and party and tell everyone one how we complained VERY UNPROFESSIONAL....... I am no spoiled brat but I work hard for my money.... If u r gonna charge that much per night u should have better accommodations. Such a shame......

Held brother's 60th Birthday gathering at Lost Arrow, Cottages were wonderful! Had three boats on the River and was able to dock right in front of the restaurant. They had live music and an outdoor seating area to view the river.
