Celibeth House B & B is a restful retreat located near Seney Wildlife Refuge. Our hosts, Roger and Darlene, have a real talent for hospitality and make you feel at home and relaxed. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with interesting historical artifacts. The breakfasts were superb, served on china and linens. We would definitely return to such a nice...

I'm having difficulty publishing a review on my iPad, so this will be brief! Celibate House is an excellent B&B that I can heartily recommend! We had a great meal that night, thanks to an excellent recommendation by our hosts. Celibate House is beautiful and our room was wonderful for the price! Go stay with Roger and Darlene at Celibeth...

What a wonderful surprise in an amazingly peaceful and gorgeous setting. The two of us arrived and instantly felt at home. Darlene and Roger are wonderful hosts who made us almost immediately feel like family. The wall plaque by the front door pretty much sums up our experience: "Enter as Strangers, Leave as Friends". The owners have lovingly restored this...

Our stay at this particular B and B was fantastic, the house was extremely clean and the hosts were outstanding. As soon as we walked in, Rodger asked us where we were going to for dinner, then proceeded to call right away and make a reservation. They made us feel right at home, very fun to talk with, could have...

What a wonderful experience our family had at the Celibeth House! Roger and Darlene were an absolute joy to be around- friendly, knowledgable about local restaurants and things to do, and kind to our family. The rooms are each unique and the breakfast was DELICIOUS, not to mention the cookies and brownies that Darlene left for us to take throughout...

Roger and Darlene are charming laid back hosts and serve a fancy breakfast. The house is very clean and tidy and filled with history, and there is usually good conversation in the parlor after dinner. Celibeth House (named after two daughters of a lumber baron) is located in the nearly ghost resort town of Blaney Park in the middle of...

Before last weekend, I had never stayed at a B & B. Our hosts, Roger and Darlene, could not have been more gracious, warm and hospitable. My fiancé and I had such a wonderful weekend while exploring Northern Michigan. For those who are in search of turn-of-the century charm, wonderful 4 course breakfasts each morning and great conversation with your...

We had the opportunity to stay with Roger and Darlene in their historic, renovated Celibeth House on our recent trip through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. What a relaxing and refreshing change from the usual hotel chains! The large and interesting house and our king room were very comfortable with all the necessary amenities, but the hosts are the best...

We enjoyed our stay at Celibeth House on our drive through Michigan's UP. Both the house and hosts are charming. There are no TVs or internet so it is a place to truly unwind and enjoy the company of the hosts and fellow guests. The front porch was a perfect place to spend a rainy summer evening. We were surprised...

We stayed here in September. The inn is very clean and very comfortable. The area is very quiet and relaxed The price is more than fair. The breakfast was great. The best thing about this inn though are the owners. They are very kind and generous people. [ Note that currently both Bing & Google maps do not locate this...

“The rooms are in an old mansion, so had to be adapted. The bathrooms shoehorned into strange places, but that is part of the charm. We had a good sized closet, which is unusual in an old house.”
