Unless you HAVE to stay in this hotel, it's probably best that you don't. I agree with previous reviews regarding the many flaws of this property and management. My partner and I requested to change rooms due to an awful acrid burning smell stemming from the air conditioner. When we conveyed our concerns to the female manager at the front... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to stop on our way home from Detroit. I read many reviews for nearby hotels which appeared to be better. I noticed that this hotel although very reasonable had a few reviews that were not too complementary. However, I've learned that often when there are a small number of reviews (in... More

We would definately stay here again! They had fast, friendly service and have owned it for many years. Easy to book online and the price was the same. Family-owned and still has the high-quality name brand service. Very clean and we had no issues. A great room at a great price!

At first the room seemed decent enough for the price. Everything appeared clean and in working order. However, there were a few maintenance issues with the room (water leaking onto counter from faucet, support bar in bathtub falls out) that I didn't feel the need to switch rooms over. In the early hours of the morning, my baby dropped her... More

We got a king size bed and found it to be very comfortable. $69 for two of us. Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Thought the value was great! This is our second time at this hotel. The hotel has been maintained nicely. Good water pressure. Decorating is tasteful. McDonald's is directly across the street, but is presently under... More

Beyond saying it sucked, let me elaborate. Upon arrival, I was charged a different price than was offered before i left home. I requested an accommodated room and was told they did not exist at this hotel. The room smelled like smoke. The tv did not work. The message said to contact the cable company because the cable had not... More

I'm a returning customer, I have always stayed at the Best Western of Fowlerville, till my recent stay when I noticed the hotel name has changed to Magnuson Hotel Fowlerville. The rooms still look the same, only change I noticed were the beds have been raised up like you see in most hotels these days. And they also have matching... More

This might be a hidden treasure for travelers through the area. I found the rooms comfortable, clean, and well kept. The entire hotel staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool, seeing beautiful flower beds and well kept grounds. The access to local restaurants and shopping was nice.

Stayed one night, thankgoodness! They charged us $80......not worth it...more like $40 would have been more appropriate. This hotel is nasty....door wouldn't seal, tub leaked all over floor, towels were dingy, water was brown, no amenities what so ever, pool was closed in 90 degree weather, and the pillows were bad. Also, there was 1 wash cloth, 2 towels, and... More
