It is the worst hotel that I ever have been. Even a Motel has a better cattegory. Do not attempt to stay here. All the hotel is very old and dirty. Cleanning service comes when they want or they Just dont come. Breakfast is poor quality and is served on plastic plates, cups, forks.... Etc. And they dont even recycle all the stuff... Housekeepings are loud, they make so much noise around. Never come back.

This hotel needs some TLC, it is older and it shows. That being said it was clean and functional. The location off expressway was easy excess and close to down town Flint. They provide us with shuttle service to a downtown event so we did not have to worry about parking etc. How every they need a new shuttle bus it’s old and some what scary. The driver was nice and did a great job. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

I gave this hotel 2 stars instead of one solely because of the excellence of the front desk staff. They were exceptional. From check in to opening the door of my room this was 5 stars. It went downhill very quickly. First, there was moldy disgusting food left in the refrigerator. Clearly this has not been checked in weeks. That is just sloppy, lazy housekeeping. Furniture was very old and very worn out. The springs in the couch were so worn out I literally sank almost to the floor! It was so bad I had trouble getting out of it. The desk chair did not work at all. It was lowered all the way to fit under the small desk and could not be elevated. It was useless. TV had Direct TV but only about a dozen worked. Many were completely garbled and utterly unwatchable.Very confusing just to get to. Big sign off the highway but it isn't actually on hotel property. The front of the hotel faces the other way off one way roads. There are no signs of any kind on the side facing the highway. Easily correctable and terribly confusing. Definitely avoid this hotel.

Where do I start with this sh*tshow of a hotel..... Checked in, staff was nice. Gave us our key and went up to the room. Walked in to the room and oh hey, someone else is already in that room!! How exciting! Go back down and get a new room and come down to get the shuttle to our restaurant and we sit out front for about half an hour waiting for the driver to come down because he was fixing an ice machine which apparently couldn't wait. Decided to call an Uber instead. Get back after our night out and go to be only to be woken by someone banging on our door at 1:30am asking what our name was. I tell them to get lost and they proceed to call my room phone non-stop until I answer. For some reason they didn't have me in the computer so they decided 1:30am would be a good time to wake me up and ask me for my name. After that, couldn't fall back to sleep, so decided to watch some TV, but hey guess what, the remote control doesn't work. Decided to charge my phone, but guess what, the plugs next to the beds don't work unless the lamp is turned on. So if you want to charge your phone, you get to sleep with the lights on in the room. AWESOME!! I went down in the morning to say something to the manager and she basically didn't give a sh*t. So, all in all other than the fact that this place is absolutely FILTHY and everything in the rooms is broken and falling apart, the staff is also inconsiderate and/or stupid. I feel like I have to burn my clothes after I slept there. Holiday Inn should be EMBARRASED that this place has their name on the building.

rangerstar, Efficient and friendly are words that best describe Holiday Inn Express. Sadly though, the issues you had with our staff and in-room amenities made it had for you to get rested. I'm sorry your visit didn't go as planned. But don't worry as I've already looped in the hotel about your feedback. They will make sure that actions are taken so this doesn't happen again. I have also sent you a private to follow-up on this matter. We promise a better experience next time, so I hope you give us another try. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us! Regards, Joel A Case Manager IHGService

Front desk staff was sweet, especially Mandy and Missy. The rest. FILTH. Took three rooms to find an acceptable room.. Others had hair and mold in bathroom. Elevators were filthy. Entrance has weeds and cigarette butts. Windows filthy. Hair in the hardboiled egg drawer which was filthy. This property and the manager who allows this are an embarrassment to the IHG brand.
