Very nice place to stay. Clean rooms, our apartment was with the kitchen (oven, fridge etc). 10 min to Saugatuck/Douglas, 20 min to Holland. A lot of things to do for the kids, pool, table games. Really good breakfast! And awesome owners!

We stayed in one of the 2 story townhomes. Our unit was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The main dining area and pool was clean and breakfast was great. We loved the patio outside of our unit. The kids enjoyed the pool and the playground. We loved how close Hop and Vine was to several wineries and restaurants.

This is the third year we have rented the entire Inn for a long weekend. It was fabulous. Something for everyone and even though the weather was cold and snowy we were able to set out on a hike and come back to enjoy the wonderful pool.

Dan and Amber are gracious hosts. The property is spacious and our 2 bedroom room with fireplace was perfect for 2 friends on a quick get away weekend. On a warm weekend in November we were able to visit 2 beaches to walk, wine tasting and finding a local cheese maker was a bonus and a great restaurant just minutes away made for a great weekend. I'm .Already planning another weekend in the spring or summer!

We stayed at Hop and Vine for one night in Sept. A brief getaway. It was such a comfortable place. Amber and Dan are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Harbor Room and enjoyed the lovely fireplace. We are planning to go back in December.

We stayed at Hop and Vine in September 2022. The property is lovely, the garden is beautiful. The owners and the people and also the people staying were friendly and welcoming. The common areas are comfortably furnished as well as appealing. There are plenty of snacks if you get hungry during the day. The rooms are cozy and warm, and super clean. We stayed in the Boat House (2 bedroom) and the decor is charming, and it was so cozy and comfy. Cleanliness is super important to me and Hop and Vine was impeccably clean. It felt like home. Thank you!!

Our group of 24 senior golfers returned for our third visit to Hop and Vine Inn in Sep 2022. We had a splendid experience on each previous visit, and this time was no exception. Since our last stay in 2019 Dan and Amber have made many significant improvements to the property, including updated and modernized rooms, additional amenities and activities on site, and an overall upgrade of the entire experience. As always, we enjoyed the attentive and professional hospitality that Dan and Amber are known for, including welcome cocktails, a delicious and satisfying breakfast each morning of our stay, and attention to the little details that crop up with large groups that make our visit easy and carefree. There are very few places in Michigan that can cater to and accommodate large groups like ours and provide the warm and intimate setting that fosters memorable experiences, and the Hop and Vine Inn stands at the top of this list. I recommend it enthusiastically and without reservation.

Wonderful facility with so much room. We had a family reunion here that had several complications on our part all handled quickly and cheerfully by our wonderful hosts. We made and ate all our meals here - is our favorite form of fellowship - for 5 days. The yard and space in the house met every need from age 4 to 72. Games on the lawn then games at night and coffee in the morning for hours while we stretched every day then back to our own completely comfortable rooms.

If you had asked me to imagine an ideal property for a family reunion with upwards of 20 people expected from 7 states and four time zones I would have described a place where each family can have a private unit with their own bathroom, but a large central gathering spot, with a HUGE chef’s kitchen, well equipped enough for even the pickiest family member to create a large shared meal, space to share, to run/walk and be close to beaches, shopping, golf, and charming coastal cities. BOOM! This place was amazing. It had all that and some incredibly gracious owners who were present to help if needed but not the slightest bit intrusive. West Michigan has something to offer everyone and most of that is wishing a 10-20 minute drive, longer if you want to check out Holland (I recommend that too). This place was beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and close enough that people coming from several hundred miles away can fly into a regional airport and not regret the drive to the property.
