We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes For two days and stayed two nights at Duneswood. Very nice place, easy check-in and check-out, and the staff was responsive to our questions. Our one bedroom loading was clean and comfortable. Located near the bike trail and Dune Climb, the Resort is in an ideal location. Short drives to Empire and Glen Arbor.

Duneswood Resort is special. It is almost inside the National Park. Unpretentious, simple and wonderful. Hike up the dune in their back yard and you will see. Short drive to Glen Arbor with shops and oh so special eateries.

No contact check in and out was easy, although I would have enjoyed being able to talk with our hostess face to face. Our room was clean and well kept. While the building is older than some would like, it felt more like staying in a cabin and we had access to outdoor seating, grill area and a fire pit. The location is perfect - close to all the places we wanted to visit in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area, especially the beach and Glen Arbor. Leland was a short drive away. We didn't bring our bikes but the bike path was right out front and Duneswood would make a good place to head out from for biking.

Room was very clean and everything was as pictured and described don the website. Very easy check in and check out. Very close to the Dunes and a nice picturesque drive from the nearby towns such as Glen Arbor and Leland, Mi.

We love how welcoming the owners are. This was our second stay here and we loved it. Accommodations are simple, but enough. Proximity to nature, the dunes and the beach is unbeatable. We are dog owners and this place is dog friendly which we greatly appreciate. We will be back.
