My boyfriend and I came to Sherwood Forest B&B for a weekend getaway to beautiful Saugatuck. It was both our first time to the area, and we wanted something that was quiet, picturesque, cozy, and comfortable. Sherwood Forest was exactly what we hoped for. Jim met us upon arrival and checked us in. Complimentary glasses of wine awaited as he walked us through the sites, made restaurant recommendations, and gave an overview of the region. He let us get settled into our room, the Log Cabin Suite, which was the perfect mix of rustic accents, warm and comfy bed, double facing fireplace, and two person jacuzzi. It was the perfect landing spot for us to come and go as we enjoyed a lovely winter weekend in the area. Finally, how could I fail to mention breakfast! Noeleen’s culinary skills are out of this world! You will not be left wanting after a very big spread of fruits, breads, granola, yoghurt, and “off the grill” eggs and potatoes. Delicious. The house is gorgeous and we cannot wait to come back!

This house was beautiful. Super cool themed rooms and we were able to tour a few of them by our gracious host Jim. We stayed in the log cabin room and it was gorgeous, quiet, and very quaint. Jim welcomed us with a beer and wine when we arrived and sat down with us to discuss the area and dining options. His recommendations we're spot on and we enjoyed The Mitten for lunch, and Everyday people Cafe for dinner. Bother excellent and very enjoyable. After dinner we enjoyed the jacuzzi back at the B and B in front of the fireplace. Breakfast was outstanding by Noellene (spelling?) and had a little bit of everything. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway from busy everyday life. Thanks again, and we will be back.

For eleven years my wife and I have joined three couples in Douglas Michigan for a wonderful winter escape. We have stayed at the Sherwood Forest B&B all of those years, and intend on doing so indefinitely! Jim and Noelene's preparation for the holidays is always amazing! The atmosphere really gets you ready for the holiday season. We stay in the Victorian room , and look forward to our gourmet coffee and breakfast feast every morning. Our stay is filled with winter beach walks, shopping and enjoying Douglas and Saugatuck's food offerings. This is a great time of year as most of the shops and restaurants are open and very easy to get into as the crowd is minimal compared to the summer season. I highly recommend staying at Sherwood Forest B&B anytime you are in the area, but the classy holiday decor and warm ambiance can't be beat during the holiday season!

It was such a treat to stay at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast. We happened upon this lovely spot after a bad experience at a different place we had booked initially, and couldn't have been more pleased with how things ended up. Hosts are so kind and accomodation was terrific. We stayed in the Safari Room and it was terrific. Hope to be back again and again.

It is a very charming house were it is nice to sit and relax inside, outside on the veranda or at the pool. We had a very lovely room, the rose room. But the best at this place is the breakfast, every day something special beside what is usual at a breakfast. You can also use a bike, very easy to bike to Saugatuck our Douglas. The owner is very friendly and does everything to make it comfortable.
