The hotel itself was great and lots of great restaurants are inside this hotel. Its location made me concerned about leaving my vehicle in the parking lot for days. Overall, a very quiet place with lots of choices to eat. My entire bill was picked up because it was a business trip.

I booked this hotel last minute for a trip to a Tiger's game. On line the hotel looked nice for a one nights stay, and the front desk staff I spoke with, Joe was a very kind and accommodating. Upon checking in I noticed from the lobby seemed somewhat mismatched and dated, but no big deal. I took the stairs... More

Stayed 3 nights and went to 3 Tiger baseball games, which was shuttled both dropped off and picked up after the game completion right in front of the main gate at Comerica Park with no problems. Waffles and hot coffee for breakfast, cold beer after the game from mini bar. Temp was in the mid 80's and the a/c was... More

Ok when desperate for an overnights stay. Don't wake up very hungry. Breakfast lacking. Tub did not look clean. Overpriced. Single entry but secure. Small parking. Area seems a bit scary. Not sure how this received such high stars in this site.

Joe at the front desk was awesome! We had slight issue with our first room and he quickly got us checked into another room! He provided information for places to go, restaurants to eat at and directions when needed. We were visiting Detroit with my 16 year old daughter and her friend. They were going to a concert and we... More

This hotel was perfect for my needs! I stopped off in Detroit to visit the Motown and African American Museum! As long as the room was clean and the staff was pleasant, I was happy! The hotel is a bit old, but clean! I bet passed the buffet breakfast and cubed at the restaurant next door!

While the property itself seems rather dated. The staff truly make the difference; They were kind, helpful, and willing to do everything within their power to make your stay much more convenient and enjoyable. There is a shuttle bus that runs all day and will both drop-off and pick-up from anywhere downtown. The lobby staff was relaxed and was always... More

My first experience at the regency hotel was a weekend well spent!! I went to movement and had a shuttle all weekend.. How convienant! Not only did I have a safe ride, Andre the driver was such a genuinely nice guy, he definitely knew his way around and I never waited long for a ride. All other staff was very... More

The hotel offered a shuttle to take us to the concert which was nice so we didn't have to pay for parking. However, the lines of communication were off kilter after the concert, which resorted in waiting for an hour after the concert was over. Then after I was fed up waiting, I suggested that my sister, and the 2... More
