I wish there was a negative 1 I could give this hotel but I can't. Lets be clear management clearly has no regard for customer service. After having to request a different room, the second room was just as filthy. There were mystery stains on the walls. For this hotel to be so historic, you would think they would at... More

My wife and I stayed here again from August 11-August 16, 2016. The first time there there was a heat problem (Oct 2015) was told the city hadn't opened the steam lines??? On this visit in August it was very hot and there was an aircondition problem. On one occasion I informed Eric that the rooms needed a working thermostat... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay here at the Hotel St. Regis. We have experienced air-conditioning problems with some of our rooms with the heat index being so high this summer. Never would expect this for a St. Regis. Definitely proved to me that the stereotypes about Detroit are true. This was more like a comfort inn. You know that must, wet feeling in the summer when there is poor air conditioning and insulation.

I've always enjoyed this hotel. Its location next to the Fisher Building puts you right in Midtown. Nice clean room, adequately appointed. My check in was smooth and quick enjoyed my stay here and I was under the impression the hotel is under new management service was professional.

This hotel is an overall 5 because of the excellent service we got while visiting last weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager Jeremy who was very nice and inviting to the hotel. We got to the room and it was clean and nice, but not quite as updated as the lobby. Per the suggestion at check in... More

This grand hotel has everything you could want for your stay in Detroit. Close to museums, art, theater and great Motown experiences. The services began early during the reservation process......and followed me throughout the stay. Valet parking is $20.00 per night. Room service was impeccable, once you got your order in. I learned to call the front desk and have... More

At the time this hotel was built, it was the nicest hotel in the US. Not much has changed since then...We only needed it for a place to sleep, so it worked for us. This hotel looks elegant and feels quite old. There is only valet parking available. I didn't visit the restaurant so cannot comment. The staff lacks professionalism & customer service is mediocre at best!
