As an IHG elite member I stay at numerous properties per year. Normally Crown Plaza locations are up to date and the staff does its best to provide great service. That is why I try to stay there. Unfortunately this location is the exception. The rooms are quite small and are showing significant age. For example, the toilet seat should've...

I have stayed here before and had great experiences but this time it was horrible and I will not stay here again. To start off they no longer have the IHG lounge or maybe they do and I was not informed correctly as one staff member told me I had access to it and the next day when I going...

The hotel lobby was very nice. The hotel staff were friendly. Our room had a very nice view of the river/Canada. The room could be updated. The couch was hard. Was not comfortable to sit on to watch T.V.

Modern clean hotel with great decor and location. Executive King room was very nice with fantastic views. Comfy bed and quiet air con unit. Quiet and comfortable. Everything you need for an overnight stay in Detroit. Only positive criticism I have is that the front desk member may need a bit more training. I was not offered elite welcome points...

The older property has been nicely refurbished and works well as a meeting location for business purposes, and couldn't be more convenient to the COBO/civic center action. Of the three basic room styles available, I had the middle size (two V-shaped window bays) and I like how the desk was fit into one of the corner windows. Very quiet and...

Room had dried toothpaste on the counter top which questions the cleanliness of the whole room. Check in process was a nightmare, rooms not ready at check in time, staff rude on the phone when I called back an hour later to check the progress made toward my reservation (an hour after check in time). Ambassador Marshall did handle the...

Hotel was clean ... bed was very comfortable! I love the fact that they kept extra pillows and blankets in the closet ... I just wish the restaurant downstairs have a larger menu option and ice machines should be on every floor vs every other floor ... The staff were super friendly and accommodating !

Hello, I wanted to let everyone know. My wife and I had a great stay at the CP Detroit. We visited the area for the Detroit Auto Show. The location was perfect. Walked across the street to the Show. Walked a few blocks to the Meridian Winter Blast. On the way there and back stopped at the Grand Truck Pub....

Wonderful location and good price point. The good news stops here. The restaurant on the main floor "Jefferson" was very poorly staffed. Buffet breakfast had very little food (which they did not replenish), we did not receive a coffee until we were getting ready to leave, same for orange juice. Overall very poor. Housekeeping did not arrive until 6:30 p.m....

This is a prime location if you are visiting downtown Detroit to go to a hockey game, baseball or football or especially anything at Cobo as it is right across the street. What appears to be a great spot for valet is in fact not ... it used to be but now you must go around the back that makes...
