We stayed in a double room for one night for the NHL Winter Classic. The hotel is in a great location downtown, within walking distance to Comerica Park, Fox Theater, and the Fillmore. We stayed here and literally walked everywhere downtown - nearly down to GM. Our rate for NYE night was a little high but we had complementary valet...

We stayed at this hotel for NYE and are generally unfamiliar with downtown Detroit. That said, we knew it was close to Joe Lewis Arena and the MGM Grand. Based on that alone we figure it was worth the stay. Additionally, the hotel itself was a good hotel with free breakfast as well as a bar in case you feel...

We spent two nights here during the Winterfest and could not have done better downtown. The room was $110 plus tax, and we had a great 11th floor view of the city and the Christmas-lighted skating rink a block away. The breakfast was a big plus, probably the main draw, as it wasn't just the usual minimal affair. We had...

Suite was roomy, clean, warm, quiet. A few renos going on but that didn't interfere with anything. Pool was not warm at all. Free hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, cereal, sweet breads, bagels, yogurt, bananas, helpful kitchen staff. Go early for breakfast though, after 9 am the line up was very long.

We stayed here to go to a Red swings game. I was very happy with my stay. The front desk was fast at check in. The room was clean and very easy to get to. It's a short walk to the Joe and the people mover. I didn't valet my car but for booking with Priceline could have for nothing...

The staff here were so friendly and helpful! The valet was prompt and inexpensive. We had a great view from our room. It is close to public transport, and they have a free courtesy shuffle to take you around town. We would stay there again.

We stayed there this past weekend. Valet parking was a joke the entire hotel entrance was filled with people waiting. First thing is first: the valet is a nightmare. They are understaffed, they are slow and the valet captain (whoever the lady is that stands inside and hands out keys) is rude to people.
