I stayed one night at this hotel because I had a work thing very early the next morning nearby. I live like 20 minutes away but I used a Hilton free night stay that was expiring. We made an evening of it downtown. To begin, the women at the front desk were wonderful. LaShawn and Arielle were so kind and helpful. I can't speak highly enough about them. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was standard but clean and a good size. We had a two room suite. The sitting area was very large and comfortable. We had a $15 per person food and beverage credit but didn't have time to eat there. We ended up spending at the little market in the lobby which was great! The young woman who worked there (regrettably I forgot her name- maybe Nayah?) was so sweet. The location is great, it's around the block from the people mover, very close to Huntington Center (Cobo Hall), and a few blocks from Campus Martius. The gym is very nice and the machines are new and clean. The safe in the room was broken and we called someone to fix it but canceled the request because we had to leave. That was really the only thing and it wasn't even that big of a deal. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the piping hot, delicious, Double Tree cookies! Delicious. Overall a very nice city-getaway.

We had a good 1 night stay this past weekend. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating (shout out to Ayesha and Donna) esp with self-park issues. In fact, all hotel staff were cordial and helpful. Our room seemed to be a newer renovated room and was very clean upon arrival. One drawback is it’s not really close to any restaurants, but it is only a short walk to get to several establishments.

Decent enough hotel. The rooms are spacious and feel freshly renovated and is one of few hotels that the hotel is in better shape than the website pictures make it appear. I would say where they really excel is at food and beverage. The food at both the breakfast establishment and the bar and grille were good enough that it would have sold even if not in a hotel.
My only complaint is that as a golf member of Hilton honors there is a daily food and beverage credit that was not applied to the bill. This was mentioned to the agent at checkout and was supposed to be fixed and I am still attempting to resolve this well after checkout.

Beautiful old hotel with a nice bar and restaurant, and good location in Detroit. Housekeeping was very responsive when some items were left behind. Front desk personnel were friendly to some in our party and rude to younger members who arrived separately. Front desk said they would charge room to the card I made the reservation with, though I didn't have it with me, but ended up charging the card they required to be on file. I had to call a week after our stay to get the folio, which had not been left under the door nor emailed. I called to ask why the wrong card had been charged, and they said I'd need to call the hotel manager to get it fixed. I left two messages for him that were never returned. Long story short: this is a nice property but the business/administration side has work to do to measure up.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. The manager was extremely rude, outright accusing me of lying about the parking charges. Both my dad and I were not informed about any parking fees at check-in, yet the manager had the audacity to deny this. The staff is utterly useless—when we requested toothpaste and napkins on separate occasions, they couldn't be bothered to bring them to our room, instead telling us to come down to the lobby ourselves. This hotel is a nightmare with incompetent management and staff who don't care about their guests. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. (attached is the picture of the parking spot, with the rate advertised on it, which we were charged twice the amount)

I was in town for a business meetings for a week, the hotel as a safety procedures requires you to request any housekeeping service that is understand due to the situation, however I was there for a week, request 2 times clean towels, coffee, water amenities, and I never got it. I have to buy my self a shampoo, soup used the same towels for a week that was very disappointing. Called many times for service and always the answer was " the person is on your way" but never made it. Pay for parking and was charge double for the full week, then I request the refund and they only refund 2 out of 4 again the service was the worse that I have ever had @ any other hotel

Large rooms and good food. Shekib at the front desk went above and beyond to help me -excellent customer service from him, as well as the round bar staff. Valet and luggage storage was also trouble-free. Would visit again when in town for an event.

This hotel is located in downtown Detroit and the parking is terrible. During my recent stay I paid $27 for self parking in lot across from the hotel but is was both cramp and no available spots. They offered valet parking but only had one valet to service the entire hotel. The management team refunded all of the parking fees. I also never received room service my first of two nights in the hotel, I called the front desk and asked for towels and face cloths which I received. On a positive note the hotel is located within walking distance if many attractions.

First the hotel was perfectly located in Downtown. Very easy to get to my job and local restaurants. Second the staff at this hotel was amazing. Natasha and Marie who checked me I were great. They gave me a great room and were very friendly. They also recognized and valued me as a Hilton honors member which is important as I am loyal to Hilton for my travels. Early in the morning Leangela always treated me with a hot cookie and a friend smile while I left for work at 6am. Hoye is going through some renovations and can’t wait to see the finished product. My only hope is that in the near future they open up breakfast a little earlier than 7am. That is the only disappointment as I have to go to work without breakfast. 🥲. Thank you for a great stay and look forward to coming back. Keep up the good work!

Originally thought the stay was going to be great after reading others reviews but was sadly mistaken. Upon arrival to the room, I immediately found a water bottle filled with an unknown liquid and a plastic wrapper behind the TV. Mentioned it to the front desk and they immediately had housekeeping take care of it. When checking out the next morning I took the sheets and pillow cases off to make it easier for the housekeepers and noticed some blood stains on the pillows and a large stain on the mattress that could have been dried up urine. I attempted to speak with management after having multiple issues within the room throughout my stay to at least have a conversation but the manager refused to some out and speak with me. Instead they used the front desk attendant as a messenger to relay the message of being sorry for my inconvenience. I was highly disturbed and would not recommend staying here strictly from how management chooses to handle guests!!!!
