I stayed here on 3 November 2016, and was satisfied with the property and price. ( We used credit card points to book.)It is a large facility and has had better days. The room was great, and it is only minutes from Greenfield Village and the Ford Museum. The carpets in the hallways are due for replacement- well worn, but...

My comments are for a stay on November 5-6 of 2016. Although I paid the "discounted" $140 for 1 night, the Edward Village hotel is not a luxury "three-star" hotel. Here are five reasons why this experience makes me not want to revisit this establishment. 1) upon entering hotel room, my room was dirty: the room had dried wax or...

I have stayed hear through the years and through many different owners/management. Now call 'Edward Village' since this spring and hopefully positive changes are in store. Room was quiet and comfortable, but outdated wallpaper and fixtures in the bathroom. Looks like owners are trying to make improvements but the property is large. Still has lovely entry and lobby, and location...

I have always loved the hotel life and have always enjoyed my stays at different hotels.. BUT this hotel is one I NEVER intend on returning to, if at ALL possible. This experience started when I opened my door to my room and there in the middle of the room was the ironing board and iron set up as if...

I stayed here for a conference. The staff I interacted with were all helpful and very friendly. Room was large clean, but a bit worn. Bed was very comfortable! Grout in the bathroom was turning dark in a few spots. The shower curtain is dark red making the shower very dark. The light on the desk was not good for...

While visiting Michigan, we decided to take a last minute side trip to see the Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. After reviewing other Hotels in the same price range and not being very impressed we decided to book the Edward. It was originally a Grand Hyatt Hotel probably built in the late sixties/early seventies so, while it's a bit...

Stayed for one Saturday night in October. Checked in late around 11pm, the lobby was pretty busy but the check in was fast. This hotel is huge, something like you would see in Las Vegas. The lobby is pretty opulent and though the hotel is from the '70's, it looked great. We stayed on the fourth floor and the room...

We got a good deal on our stay at this hotel, about $60 per night. It is conveniently located near Southfield Hwy, close to Michigan Avenue and I-94. We were able to get to Royal Oak in 25 minutes, Northern suburbs in about 35 minutes and to the Canadian border in about 15 minutes. The hotel is very large with...
