We bought a house local to Alkham Valley View but need somewhere to stay while we waited for completion to take place. We turned up unannounced as we were in the area after visiting our proposed new home (which is now our new home) but no one was home. I called Jan on the number and spoke to her explaining... More

We had a lovely stay in the caravan. It was just what we wanted, at the right price. Very clean and comfy, The bedding perfect, bed very comfortable. We had a lovely break. Jan couldn't of been any more helpful. We will be booking again :-}

This has got to be the worst experience ever for my mother and myself, we felt like we were on a rubbish tip,shower didn't work, mice,snails, webs in accommodation, bedding inadequate all furnishings fallen to bits, draughty ancient accommodation not worth a penny, not suitable for holiday stay

Arrived Alkham Valley View at 3pm and was told the room wasn't ready so we left our bags in 'The Nook' and returned at 6.30pm to find the room still hadn't been cleaned and the bed still not made. The toilet hadn't been flushed by the previous occupants; used tissues left in the shower room; floors dirty in both shower... More

I have stayed here bed and breakfast a couple of times now and cannot fault it. Jan, the host made me feel very welcome. With stunning countryside and sea views and it's close proximity to local towns, Dover and the M20, you can get anywhere in a short space of time. Room very comfortable and the full cooked breakfast really... More

We went for a few days away, taking Dexter, our labrador retriever. We arrived Friday afternoon and were welcomed by Janice. The accommodation was small, but very comfortable, and very well equipped. We had a really peaceful break enjoying the superb views outside the window. Folkestone beach is less than ten minutes away in the car, and although quite chilly,... More

How glad I am to have stumbled across Jan's details looking for B&B while working away from home. Always have a pleasant stay, warm welcome, nice and friendly atmosphere, good "Full English", comfy room which is always clean and tidy. Rocco, the family labradoodle, is 'a big softie' . Lovely views here too.

Another great stay at Jan's B&B with our Newfoundland puppy (who got on great with Jan's labradoodle) and our now Luton van, as plenty of off-road parking. Nice and safe for our trip abroad on Eurostar, and a large field at the back to walk our dog before the off. Thanks again, Rob & Nicky.

My husband and I were looking for a nice pet friendly place to stay while travelling to France with our 11 month french bulldog. After driving all day we finally arrived at the place and saw Janice and her dog. I had my dog on the lead even though he is really friendly (anyone who owns one knows that they... More
