The property is a great and in a quiet area and has a beautiful view. But the hotel needs to be renovated . My partner booked for a sea view chalet but on the day we arrived we were given the deluxe room instead and the Beatrice (receptionist) refused to accommodate our booking stating they are no more chalets left....

I don't recommend this hotel to stay. Manager of this place it totally very unfriendly. But the stuff is VERY NICE. Food in the hotel is very tasty. Manager don't hide that he's going to close the hotel by the end of this year.

Nice and peaceful place and amazing. The dinner of 4 course set menu was very delicious. Also we saw plenty of red colobus monkey visting the resort. The pool was little small however rest of the things well kept.

I feel inlove in Chwaka bay resort! The place there is great, the staff is the kindest and the food there is to die for! From that bay, you can go on all sorts of trips for really low price or you can hang around the ocean or swimming pool. It is really quiet and peacefull place — perfect for...

You want a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean, Come to chwaka bay resort it's however very far from any attractions and town. That's when you get to pay for everything at the resort and very expensively. The rooms are traditional and beautiful but dusty on the floor and no wifi in the room just at the reception. No nearby...

We had a private bungalow quite close to the beach. The room was nice, and we also had a porch with chairs and a table. The compound is beautiful and quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is very cheap, but we ended up paying a lot for transport. There is not much within walking distance except...

The place is nice and quite, but there is absolutely nothing to do. NOTHING. The beach is super low-tide most part of the day (like hundreds of meters away) and there is a lot of seaweed, making the sea a brownish dark color and only a few cm of depht. We had thought before coming of making day trips but...

The resort is located approx 1 hour from Stone Town in the very quiet Chwaka Bay. The rooms are rather spacious and facilities clean. Staff were friendly and understanding and even reopened their bar for our large group. We found the location slightly inconvenient for dining however we were able to organise transport and tours easily through the front desk....
