We had a private bungalow quite close to the beach. The room was nice, and we also had a porch with chairs and a table. The compound is beautiful and quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is very cheap, but we ended up paying a lot for transport. There is not much within walking distance except... More

The place is nice and quite, but there is absolutely nothing to do. NOTHING. The beach is super low-tide most part of the day (like hundreds of meters away) and there is a lot of seaweed, making the sea a brownish dark color and only a few cm of depht. We had thought before coming of making day trips but... More

The resort is located approx 1 hour from Stone Town in the very quiet Chwaka Bay. The rooms are rather spacious and facilities clean. Staff were friendly and understanding and even reopened their bar for our large group. We found the location slightly inconvenient for dining however we were able to organise transport and tours easily through the front desk.... More

At first, we had some problems with room, but then it was awesome - tasty food, clean room, nice staff, awesome location, but the beach was little bit worse, but you can visit (for free!) Paradise beach what is best beach i'v ever seen.

This budget option was rather grand for the price. The pool was great, staff really friendly and helpful. Ha I g just stayed in basic backpackers hostels in Stone Town this was lovely. Right on the beach, although at low tide not really feasible to swim but the lovely pool offered a good option. The only negative I can find... More

Great place to hang out for a single day or two, away from the buzz of Stone Town. Bay and beach is shallow watered but the hotel offers a very nice swimming pool. Nice, calm atmosphere and very kind staff. If going for a walk along the beach, go in the morning and return by road, since the tide will... More

We checked out 8 days early after 4 terrible days of moldy rooms and pillows, awful service, and terrible food that would make your high school cafeteria meal look like a 3 star lunch. A refund was not provided... Now the detailed version: Once we arrived we were asked to pay the bill for the whole stay up front in... More

Don't eat the food. There are better places to eat if you do decide to stay in the hotel. It's over priced and of very poor quality, my friend had a lot of stomach trouble after ever meal.... the rooms are fine, but bring insect repellent- lots of it- the mosquito nets have holes in them and there's no netting... The Hotel is priced very cheap for Zanzibar. There is a reason for it though. Its far from everything and we paid almost 250$ just to get to stonetown and a proper beach. Food and drinks were ok but the breakfast was boiled eggs and vieannas. We did ask for scrammbled eggs. Not very apatising. Staff are friendly and nice.... More

The resort is a bit worn down but for the price you pay it is a 5 star luxury resort!! The staff is very nice and helpful although there is room for improvement with their English, the breakfast is ok but the dinner buffet is really good and I never left hungry, on the contrary everything was delicious so we...
